Can use R-60M instead, 10.3 is more suitable for it so it’s resonable to downgrade something.
Just depends on what Gaijin decides to give it, R-73Es or R-60Ms but I do agree R-60Ms and a BR of 10.3 could be pretty fun depending on how nimble this thing is.
The F-20 really feels like a Yak-141 situation, both came in at same time patches of different years, both prototype aircraft, and I could see them being equals if they both get ARH like how the 141 is indicated to in the files. Hopefully we just get some of the 141 treatment for this beauty, I would kill to see some 120s or 65Ds…

They definitely aren’t breaking records with flight model, but I personally find them good enough to get the job done, especially when my main strat revolves around staying low and using Kh-29’s to defeat SPAA at range. For me the SM3 is an opportunity to really improve lethality by both decreasing time to find targets with thermals, and still carrying string weapons(potentially even better with the Kh-25MTP, but that has yet to be seen)
I’m not trying to say the Yak 130 would be bad, but I think that it will come later regardless, and it’s rescue payload will mean that no matter what, it will never have the same chance to impact a match

Yeah the SU-25SM3 and its thermals for now are pretty significant and the Russians were in dire need of a vehicle like this, I’m pretty excited to see how it will look in the dev stream! Hopefully they don’t (and most likely wont) disappoint with this beast.
I’ve talk about it, but my key concern is that it’s still an underwhelming weapons platform if it doesn’t get the experimental Kh-25MTP. It’s the only way it can really push CAS for the tech tree in my opinion, is with a new weapon

It’s strange gaijin made both KH29TD/E, even with slightly different data, but same performance, they shouldn’t not know it.
I think it’s like difference in choice. for me, sm3 is good, I want it, but if choose, I would choose SU-24M2, and add thermal pod for SU-25T, because su-25sm3 and 25t is too similar.
Could be the Thai F-16 to give more CAS options for Japan at top tier?
If it’s not XF-2A or F-2A, then I think we won’t see it till December since June has to be the F-15J MSIP.
That’s also possible, looking at the planes Thailand operates. Which depending on the BR and loadout is a welcome addition as mid-high tier doesn’t really have good CAS options at the moment.
Still, doesn’t count as the top tier thing the orange guy was talking about (if you were referring to that).

Anyone saw that part in the Apache, kinda looked like they were lasing for a friendly that then hit the target.
Aside from simply being a second aircraft to spawn in, a Thai F-16 would be functionally identical to the F-16AJ. There’s no point in it. It would also do nothing but serve as a roadblock to the F-2.
Difference is that alone dosnt make much of a difference. The Kh-25MTP means that now I can carry a total of 6 fire and forget weapons, instead of just 2
Possibly, but it could get laser guided GBUs which would be more effective than our current mavericks. I’m unsure if it would get a better radar with TWS though. I think it’d also use AIM-9Ms(?) which would be an improvement from AIM-9Ls and give us a bit of parity with the F-16C (also AMRAAMs in the future).

I really don’t care about CAS weaponry, I’m an adult. I use tanks in the tank mode, sorry.

Good for you, but a lot of us use CAS, and you still gave out false info, so do a little more digging next time before you answer so confidently, you know, like an adult
