I believe it’s even the same with the Swedish Gripen. Aim-9M’s were never mounted for Sweden but rather an upgraded Aim-9L that’s not in game. I think for simplicity sake gajjin is being more and more generous with weapon attributions, especially when options are scarce

It’s not the stream. You would know without a shadow of a doubt if it was.
It’s the right time frame for one, as the English one is right after it and then dev server opens up around Noon EST.
So 7-9 AM EST RU stream, 10-Noon EN stream, Noon+ Dev server opening up. That’s probably the rough timeframe of everything.
Though I’d imagine the 2 hour thing is more of a placeholder and not that they’ll take all 2 hours. All the prior dev streams (for the last few updates that I’ve checked) are about an hour so far. It’s likely they’ll update it to reflect it being a dev stream with correct info in a few hours.
On the topic of the AV-8S, I never knew why Gaijin just didn’t capitalize on it

Yea, I’m sure they’ll update it soon as we get closer. The actual event scheduled is a placeholder, I’m 99% sure since we know they’re gonna do a dev stream during that time slot.
I don’t know much about it, what does it bring to the table? The ones Thailand bought are from Spain is all I really know
Why do you think they’d put a schedule up for it not only without it being a proper announcement (which is the purpose of scheduling them like that), but also when they’ve never done it even nearly this early before?
AV-8S was basically just an export AV-8A intended for Spain, however it was equipped with AIM-9Ps/9Ls. Supposedly, it also tested a similar dual rail to what the Sea Harriers have

Is this not the same time they’ve been doing dev streams? As far as I remember, it has mostly (if not always) been early morning EST for RU, followed by EN in the morning.

You do realize that is a red herring placed there so that nobody suspects anything out of the ordinary and now that the update has been teased, it will be updated in due time with that particular event on Twitch either updated or replaced with the actual correct information?
I’m not quite sure what you’re saying. I’m referring to the timeframe that they usually do dev streams (not a specific time like 8 AM EST always, but more always the same range between 7 AM to Noon EST).

There is no logical reason to believe this. There have been streams scheduled like this in the past.
