Gaijin Entertainment Plans To Release Five Major War Thunder Updates Per Year

We plan to continue releasing at least five major content updates per year (each of them has more content than many standalone full-price games), as well as special events. We do not disclose exact plans, as guessing what comes next is a favorite hobby of our players, but new content means new nations, new vehicles, new maps, new gameplay mechanics, new graphics features, new collaborations with famous franchises, and more.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the YF-17 shows up, it gets equipment to bring it in line with the Block 10. The devs could just leave it in it’s base prototype form, but they haven’t done that with modern jets (yet). Even the F-16AJ and YAK-141 got a full combat suite.

Currently USA tech tree lack another lightweight fighter aircraft class since 11.0 ~ 11.7 between F-5E (rank VII) and F-16A Block 10 (rank VIII) and gajin could add in the future but I can’t think 🤔

5 major updates per year is a lot. That means we will get a lot more vehicles each year. So fifth gens might come sooner than what we previously expected
