Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 3)

With AIM-9X block II+ they wouldnt

because if you add the one with american aam to the US tree, what does it bring to the US tree? nothing.

also, US was invovled in integration of ASRAAM to australian hornets in some way

yeah, well the 9X was already integrated on the Super Hornet, obviously.

But Australia had been using the ASRAAM until then, so it would have been an extra cost to acquire a new stock of missile, I wonder what they’ve done with their old ASRAAM stockpile

that one is quite interesting. a stealth AAM, in production too

destroyed it or sold it to someone else

In which the only drama has came from the US side

Considering how fast that was flagged I think I was more on the head.

they mostly integrated all sorts of weapons firstly to an US aircraft, like F-16 with ASRAAM

so you just want the legacy hornet because you want a better AAM lol

You keep bringing this up, of course the US was involved, if you want to stick a new missile on a jet, your best bet is to go to the manufacturer, it’s not some amazing accomplishment.

Also, by that same logic the UK should get the SU-24

Mainly due to swearing which is against forum rules

you guys are asking for every US Navy fighter from 2006-2019

lmao well for me it wasnt anyway lol

There was no swear in there.

Stormer cant hit missile/bombs (or its very hard too) true but even ADATS can only hit missile coming towards you or like kinda close range.

Both are bad at close range. Stormer u can navigate the HVM under 0.8miles. The ADATS Im not to sure about but i think its roughly the same.

They both have 7mile range. Idk both the same to me, both very good, stormer edges a little bit because of speed and ammo count although the ADATS missile have very high G’s and proximity,

I’ll give it to the ADATS. Stormer still very good for its BR. No complaints apart from it not being given the Martlet LMM

Just the Australian ones, a Legacy Hornet, Super Hornet, and F-35A would all be nice additions to our Empire… I mean tech tree
