we all made our choices, and Germany and the US could have both had the ASRAAM if they stuck with the program
It will honestly not change much, people will start complaining that mica ir start with datalink and can go up to 50km when aim9x and irist will be max 20-25 (no clue for russian and chineese).
And with time it will go even worse, 70-80km ir missiles for France.

If “choices” is what it is about, then I’m sure there will be no issue with bringing AIM-120C, which is the historical contemporary of MICA-EM? :D
I also love how you say “not everyone is USA”, as if I specifically talked about them when I mentioned all current Sidewinder-Operators ingame.

its the same thing with the ASRAAM ( I expect most american planes that have them will probably use them over 9Xs I imagine)

Yes the 120s are worse than MICAs at close range, likewise the MICA is WAY WORSE at long range compared to the 120. It’s a give and take.

yeah, but nations made their choices and apparently that means some have to suffer, so given that the US and Germany chose not to adopt the ASRAAM, I guess they have to suffer for it
Now that they are adding a strategic mode I change my opinion on the B-2

What is range good for when long range missile launches can be easily defended against with adecuate maneuvers?
On the other hand, good luck evading a MICA that can pull a 180º turn like a maniac to reduce you to atoms.
