it would be nice to put the UK on par with like france and germany but its still no counterpart for the pantsir (they really should have waited to added it since they only just added a SAM that is close and its still worse then the pantsir)
Nations made different choice about what weapon they wanted, that is as simple as that, not everyone is USA.
I mean, it is much easier to avoid BVR attacks, they’re overall the lowest PK shots you can take, so the better medium and close-range fighter will overall be the better aircraft in game and that is the Rafale
its simple, once we get into 5th gen IR missiles pretty much everyone will have this type of stuff
I meannif the export nations arent innthe game they should be added to its developer.

I mean if that’s the case then we should be getting Python 4s, ASRAAMs, and MICA IRs pretty soon then, before the AIM-9X and IRIS T anyways

wait, why ASRAAM and MICA-IR before IRIS-T and 9X? P4 is the late 4th gen missile, the rest are all 5th gen no?

because those 3 are 90s missiles, and the IRIS T and 9X are from the 00s
we all made our choices, and Germany and the US could have both had the ASRAAM if they stuck with the program
It will honestly not change much, people will start complaining that mica ir start with datalink and can go up to 50km when aim9x and irist will be max 20-25 (no clue for russian and chineese).
And with time it will go even worse, 70-80km ir missiles for France.

If “choices” is what it is about, then I’m sure there will be no issue with bringing AIM-120C, which is the historical contemporary of MICA-EM? :D
I also love how you say “not everyone is USA”, as if I specifically talked about them when I mentioned all current Sidewinder-Operators ingame.

Also contemporary =/= equals. The 120C cant do what the MICA can do. likewise the inverse is true

its the same thing with the ASRAAM ( I expect most american planes that have them will probably use them over 9Xs I imagine)
I know, but it may be a bit closer in performance capabilities compared to AIM-120A.

Yes the 120s are worse than MICAs at close range, likewise the MICA is WAY WORSE at long range compared to the 120. It’s a give and take.
