Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 2)

Also a super sonic engine that produced 50 percent more base thrust then even the later Pegasus engines

what was it used in ?

Love it!
Gaijin, when?

P.1154 plane, afterburning harrier

I have no idea but I have to agree with you. It will be weird to add the AMRAAM-liss Hornets after AMRAAMs.

We have the AN/APG-65 of the original Hornet in game already on the Italian Harrier, while the later variant AN/APG-73 was added to F-18A+ in the 90s as well as German and Greek F-4s.
With AIM-120 on the Horizon it is high time for the Hornet I’d say.

The situiation with SU-33 is somewhat similar.

Correction: AN/APG-65 on German and Greek F-4s.

I wonder if we can be expecting a tier 7 premium tank for japan been wanting to grind Japan for months now and they always get passed over.

The german F-4F ICE and greek F-4E Peace Icarus both used the APG-65, not the 73

If only it had its accurate 3rd gen thermals and more realistically capable composite armor. (Thermals gen in bug report that was acknowledged so maybe that will be improved soon at the very least). 120mm variant would also be so amazing to see…

My bad thank you.

Is there any possibility that gaijin would add legacy Hornet armed AIM-120 AMRAAM with open rank IX & expanded to 13.0 BR after introduced active radar homing MRAAM 10 or 12 months ?

F-18A+ yes.
Wether or not they icnrease Br no idea.
It depends how Gaijin wants to implement fox 3 missiles. Adding on existing jets or only on new aircraft at the start etc.

Uhhh- The AMRAAM armed Hornet will come but I have no idea and I don’t know planes.

I just know at one point F-18A couldn’t use AMRAAMs and needed a radar upgrade to do that.

The thing is Gaijin wants to add said fancy missile in one of the next 2 majors that leaves the next update as the only time for the AMRAAm-liss Hornets.

I only know this because the Hornt was relevant to a project I’m working on.

There’s C yk

Excuse me?

F/A-18C Hornet

Would be a shame to ignore the Hornet in favour of Super Hornet. The latter would also be more advanced in the weaponry it carries.

E and F are Super Hornets

A, B, C, D are Legacy Hornets

Both have intricate flight models. That’s quite literally it.

The F-15A is still broken beyond belief, the F-16 still has horrible oscillating with the Instructor and all SAS modes, as well as horrible stall characteristics.

The Su-27 is just… It’s an attempt at an Su-27.

The introduction of fully moving canards on an already iffy flight model that hasn’t been finalized is a terrible idea. Simple as.

The Su-33 is a combination of the T-10S and T-10K development. There is no equivalency between them, it’s a direct successor of the Su-27. It’s like saying the M1A2 SEPv3 is just an XM-1 with 21st century tech.
