Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 2)

By the way, people complain that most things China gets are copied and pasted, and lots of indigenious, which you can find on the suggested vehicle list, have been ignored.

That is very untrue.

?What are you talking about? If Jas39 A can be placed in 12.7, why can’t J-10 be placed in 12.3 or even 12.0? You won’t want to tell me Skyflash is an OP missile, will you? Carry two pl8+2skyflash=op?

It not compete or not, it’s attitude problem.

AIM-9Li/Ms are far superior to PL-8s, and J-10 only carries 4 PL-8s the last time I checked its loadouts sheet.
So yeah, J-10 with only PL-8s would be 11.7 - 12.0.

Check this: Chengdu J-10, History, Performance & Discussion It already said J-10 can carry 0-4 skyflash with 2 pl-8

They are not superior to the PL-8B, however.

PL-8 and Pl-8B are not same thing…

Yes.
As we see with AAM-3 though, obscure [the literal definition of obscure] IR missiles require more effort in research.
So it’ll take longer.

I know. That is why I said what I said.

Yeah i thought that wording was interesting. Isn’t that written by a non native English speaker (im one too, no judgement) and the reference from last roadmap made me think it’s the rp bonus if you are top tier for 1 nation and you’re researching a non top tier one?
Obviously i could be wrong but thats just how i read it.
Of course possible they withheld that feature to include an actual new nation…one like…oh I dunno…BeNeLux? (Hopium intensifies)

English can be very ambiguous at times for non-native speakers, and ‘new’ can have one of many context-based meanings, so that is possible.

Also, YUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-

Yeah “new” can be a new nation or can be “new to the player because they aren’t top tier yet so they get the bonus referenced in the previous roadmap”.
Hope it’s an actual entirely new nation though. Cough, BeNeLux, cough.

Yeah, could be either, though pairing it with a new nation or even just a new sub-nation would make a bit of sense

By the wording, I don’t think it will be a sub-tree as the RP bonus won’t apply. As those are attached to an existing nation.

From my understanding: >Own rank 8 for ground and/or air.
Get RP boost for ground/air vehicles in all tech trees.

Whether it’s 3 times a day like they initially stated, or something more time will tell.

My thinking is only that a sub-tree would add a lot of new vehicles, especially lower BR vehicles in 1 go. Now I dont know if the RP bonus would work on the same TT line as whatever nation you’ve got at high tier, but even if it doesnt, quite a few play more than 1 nation.

By the wording doesn’t look like it. So if they add a sub-tree to something like Japan and you have grinded it you can’t use the RP bonus on it so it limits the users they could sell it to.

So if we look at it logically a new independent tree could be sold to everyone no matter what tree they grinded. Makes it easy to sell to everyone as it is a start at zero for everyone.

It would yes.

Probably Hungary for Italy. They are noticeably absent from Italy’s air tree and Italy doesn’t even have any 12.3 or 12.7 jets. Also, Gripens are freely dispensable now by Gaijin so adding it with that mechanic would make sense. Sub trees have been added to 2 out of 3 march ptches the last three years.

If Hungary gets added. Any potential for interesting premiums? MiG-21/23 with any kind of unique loadout? Or literally all copy paste?
