You can’t really look at Singaporean vehicle options and call them “too varied” when tgey’re really just about comparable to Israel, a nation that even got a whole techtree.
By far most of their vehicles are either nation specific models or variants too, which puts them firmly in the same spot that most actual techtree nations share, so they easily quify for a nation that deserves proper representation and a fixed home.

Might I remind that Japan has gotten Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand too? Which are all significantly more varied than Singapore.
Like let alone just one of those nations, Japan has all three which would basically push Japan out of relevance entirely if Gaijin adds all of their equipments eventually.

their air tree is at most heavily modified foreign aircraft ill give you that, but Israel has more of an indigenous made or modified ground tree than Singapore. and Singapore hasnt extensively modified their jets the same way the Israelis have afaik
not quite, many nations do not have their F-35’s delivered and some (like Sweden) dont use them so without subs there would be significantly less F-35 copy paste
Erm acktually, the F-5S has received a custom classified cockpit (which is why it hasn’t been sold to anyone and has been kept despite decommissioned) and new radar capable of firing AIM-120 (never officially confirmed), the A-4SU are extensively modified by ST Engineering with brand new GE-414 non-afterburning engines, the F-16s have all been upgraded to Blk 72 + capabilities to fire Python 5 missiles, with the F-16D+ bearing similar EW suite to the F-16I. F-15SG remains largely unchanged for now.

Then add more Chinese aircraft, the exact ones that China got to develop thanks to their budget they get from these export deals.
This whole thing wouldn’t be a problem if Gaijin didn’t have a habit of skipping non-exported vehicles.
5th gen is probably my favorite example here (because there’s few enough vehicles to make a simple example). F-35A/Bs for other nations don’t make the US not unique here, because the US can get their non-exported F-35C and F-22.
But if they only add the F-35A and B, ignoring the unique models, then it’s going to look bad and people will blame Gaijin for adding the exports, even if the real problem is not adding the unique vehicles.

Same thing for UK as well, and even most others (to a lesser extent, but still more than what SG to Israel would be). So being too varied is 100% not a thought that ever crossed the devs minds.

none of this comes close to what the Israelis have been doing for many aircraft over the years except for the A-4SU
Tbf even if every nation gets F35s nobody will get the F22. (Unless the brits somehow get it but idk, I don’t keep up with all that.)
Think Sweden is the only nation who will have nothing unique for toptier be it domestic or foreign.
That’s just how top tier will go is trees will be dictated by who has the most variety and those without much will be left to rot like we are already seeing lol

Sure, but the Python 5 integration was Israeli, which further makes my point that it has gone through a round of modifications and would best suit Israel since the F-16s now come with AESA while Israel has never upgraded theirs yet.

but arent they getting Greece and will probably just get block 70’s from them? i do get the python 5 and AESA combo though, idk if HAF has that
Idk, I never kept up with the F22, I liked the yf-23 so that’s my only real area of knowledge for US 5th gen
