Nah we don’t get a say, Italian players will keep saying they need the Gripen E like they already are and same for the Japanese who somehow also said they needed it more than sweden but honestly who cares. Sweden has no reason to grind it anyways because the Gripen E won’t stay unique anyways. Gaijin has never cared about Sweden air not once.
You’ll be hard pressed to find evidence that supports any reason to cope that they will get treated decently

That is not 5th gen that is a combat drone they have a different system to half judge there technology level.
But Gaijin is known for treating nations with respect and fairness!
I think you’re also forgetting when Austria air is added Sweden will have 3 jets unique to themselves and that’s it. They’ll be just like a worse Israel since at least their modified versions are good unlike most of Swedens.
Literally no reason to grind the air tree. Especially going forward when nations like Japan or Italy can have EFT, Su-30, F-35, ect alongside Gripen E.
Sweden at the end will lack unlike every other nation as they will have the smallest air tree.

I disagree personally. It’s just that Sweden simply exports its main fighter. Nations like the USA also do so in almost the same way, but they just have more variants available, while sweden, norway, denmark and finland just have really small air fleets and less prototype/production variants in comparison.
In my opinion the uniqueness of a tree doesn’t really matter, it’s the lineups that matter and what vehicles are in it in its full. Sweden will still keep its unique Northern European planes which likely won’t ever be seen elsewhere. That top tier Air won’t be unique is absolutely not a problem. making the exported Gripen E available to more players through the nations that imported it is actually a bonus in my eyes (and we could maybe still get some Gripen E variants in Sweden if Gaijin chooses to do that).
That only matters depending on what trees you already have finished. Top tier is not the main reason to grind a tree for everyone.

To be honest I also believe export vehicles should be limited to armament that their operator nation actually used/tested on them, or at least had in inventory when it comes to compatible weapons.
The exporting nation should then get the whole range of compatible and tested options, unless it was only integrated by the customer or in a different variant.
This way the manufacturer would in just about all cases have the best variant, since it would be much more versatile.

Why is Denmark here? We aren’t a subtree and the Germans scream louder than we do when it comes to asking about where we belong.
List the Gripen E variants for me please id love to know what variety they could get. And please don’t list the F.
Additionally Nordic planes? You mean the ones that nobody plays because they are so high in tier or do you mean all the jets that will go to Austria?
In case Danish planes are included to make the Swedish tech tree more unique (although only a little), currently they indeed aren’t a subtree and will be placed where gaijin sees fit :/ .

Denmark became a Swedish subtree of sorts in 2.47 when the M24DK Chaffee and Saab F-35 were added.
I was talking about prop planes. Not everything is about jets.
I meant the Gripen E prototype (iirc it was a modified C variant?).

Yes at one point I had wanted this but it won’t work, it can’t fit in warthunder. It’s not possible due to the balance nightmare it would be, it’s also far too mishmashed on what it had and we need gaijin to stop screwing the Gripens over with what gaijin wants versus what they had.
