Yes, I’m expecting the f-15ex in this patch, as it’s already late. If not in this patch, then in the next patch, along with the su-35, as I’m trying to create a logical chain of updates leading to the 5th generation of aircraft (which is supposedly due this year).
I want to ask everyone if they still believe that the 5th generation will arrive this year?

The F-16Vs in Taiwan’s first program (Peace Phoenix Rising) are simply modernized F-16A/B, they even retain the old engine. However, the new F-16Vs were based on the GE-129(Another source mentions the GE-132). That’s the only difference between the Tainana F16V, and you explained everything very well explain Pobit
The F-15EX wouldn’t even dominate. It would be on par with the Eurofighter (AESA)s and Su-30SM2.
The EX does not have the radar gimbal limits that the Eurofighters and Su-30SM2 have. So the only things it would have going for it are missile count (barely beats the Su-30SM2, 16 > 14) and speed (pretty much on par with the Eurofighters).
The EX is a contemporary to top tier aircraft, not superior.

F-15EX in the case it receives a theoretical 16 missile loadout, should only be added once MCM/iron dome gets finally removed from the game
Top tier is already plagued by such skill-less nonsense mechanic, with Su30sm2, F-15C GE and superhornets being the worst offenders in my experience (nevermind it continue spreading to lower brs too)
the game doesn’t need more planes with MORE missiles to continue adding fuel to the fire until this mechanic gets completely revisioned

Even in their current form the EFT would still be better than the F-15EX in game lol.
But who am I kidding, you were already whining for the AESA EFT when the normal EFT was already easily the second best top tier jet in game shortly after it’s release, so the hypocrisy runs deep.

They could add F-22s with Aim-120D-3s and Aim-9X Blk2s and he would still probably accuse me of wanting an unfair advantage for the Typhoon if I even mention a single buff for the Typhoon. Even if it was just one of the many things reported and accepted as being wrong for the aircraft currently, let alone anything to do with loadouts or actual buffs

The EFT would have a considerably better radar, better flight performance in pretty much every area besides straight line speed and better sensors.
The only areas where the F-15EX wins are missile load (12-16 dependent on Gaijin) and straight line speed.

Yeah, Typhoon with M-Scan = everything else with AESA apparently according to Renzo, Would probably still be opposed to the Typhoon getting AESA even after the F-15C GE and Su-30SM2 were added. I dont think he wanted AESA Typhoon added until after Gen 5s were added iirc

if the CAPTOR-M was performing realistically against current aesas then i think it actually would be the best because aesa scan speeds ingame are slower than mechanical scan speeds irl which is just incredible (to back this up i believe the F14A scan speed on release was faster than the CAPTOR-E as it is now)
