Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 2)

Is R-27EA real yet?
Last time I checked it still didn’t exist

Sorry, where am I looking?

oh edit, I see, Su-34 has no radar drop off

Instead it has extended range beyond its limits :D

No surprise though, soviet tech is obviously superior

Technically speaking R27A was tested on MIG-29 so Gaijin could just slap 27A seeker on ER body easily.

I guess around battle rating 15.0 or 15.3 (air battle), but should be higher 14.7

Apologies if it isn’t totally accurate as i was using it as an example, no idea if it does in fact exist, in which case it’d just get practically an identical loadout as the Su-30SM2.

So the Dutch F-16 has been data mined. Do to me being on mobile, I’ve just copied the post.

Japan could get the BTR-4M, Pandur II, CCV, more modern Type-89 and some Malaysian stuff.

No, I wasnt. Do a quick Google search and you’ll see it. Or rather, shouldn’t cuz they’ve already swept it under the rug.

F-15JSI would be more modern right? Or am i wrong?

Players simply expect the game to be modeled correctly and realistically. Missiles like the PARS 3, Spike, and AGM-179 don’t have their top-attack profiles correctly modeled, and their performance is well below their real-world counterparts. If they only model certain weapons correctly (like the LMUR), where is the logic?

This isn’t just about one missile; the Brimstone, for example, still lacks its Fire-and-Forget (FnF) capability under the excuse of ‘balancing.’ Looking at the current state of other missiles, that excuse doesn’t hold up anymore. We also see things that feel more like magic than reality, such as the current state of LDIRCM or the Terminator’s (BMPT) armor.

Not to mention the state of the maps, where Gaijin thinks it’s okay to place a 50-meter tall SPAA in a completely flat spawn with zero cover, allowing enemy tanks to snipe it from across the map. In real life, an SPAA wouldn’t even be on the front line. This kind of map design is just ridiculous.

Well, Indonesia operates the Rafale, but it doesnt get added.

Ah, yes, of course.
One 13.7 seeing top tier will truly disrupt the balance at that BR range, there’s DEFINITELY no other, worse offenders ALREADY in the game but at an even lower BR.
Riiiight…

They could do that, but that would be a fantasy weapon

Not that I would be entirely against that. It would be interesting to see stuff like the Active Skyflash/Skyflash Mk.2, the Rb 73, the S225X/S225XR, the AIM-7R, the AIM-97, the Red Dean, the (mythical) A-Darter, etc

Or SRAAMs on the other planes that were meant to carry it (Tornado, Jaguar, F-4, F-5 and A-4)

It will be added in the tech tree, just wait another year. Probably UK and Japan TT will get the Rafales at the same time.
