Lowkey atp with the top tier matchmaker, id honestly rather it be a mid 14.0 then a mid 13.7.
PL-12A and AIM-120D are coming for aircraft on the very top BRs. The F-2A is currently 13.7. So any new weaponry added there is a consideration if it will disrupt its balance or not.

So when would it be expected to come then? Japan doesnt have any newer aircraft than it, and the J(M) is also 13.7.

I was thinking 7.7-8.0, yes. Sure it has stabilizer, which is not common at that BR range, but it doesn’t really have too much else. No LRF, no thermals, but STAB and APDS. It’s a rather large vehicle, but is fast. Enough protection from small arms fire, but not too much else.
While thats true, it doesn’t have HMS, MAWS, LWS, spherical RWR or highly advanced Radar such as N035.
Yea 14.0 could still be fine with a properly working kit, but any higher its more of a gimmic than smth you could enjoy in long therm honestly.
Its also a little wierd it being at the same BR as the F-16A OCU, so giving a reason to move it up a little, even just to 14.0 would help with the flow of the TT I think
Currently not something we have any news on. If / when we did, we would cover that for sure. But its just the PL-12A and AIM-120D to cover today.

Lowkey it’s sounding to me like the Japanese community should have advocated for AAM-4B right away when it first got added rather than waiting until it’s already settled into its battle-rating.
Chinese community advocated for PL-12A for J-10C immediately within its introduction into the game so there was time to consider adding it and bumping its battle-rating.
Never too late to make a suggestion report for AAM-4B on F-2A like how a simple one was done for PL-12A on J-10C

Depends on how good they make the 120D over the existing missiles. Ideally they could add Indonesian Su-35 with R-27EA, or perhaps KF-21 with Meteor’s, but again that depends on implementation of how far they want to push advances of Rank 9 currently. 120D seems to be the bar at the moment, we have no way of knowing what else is coming for now. As far as fillers go, MiG-35 is just a MiG-29 with R-77-1’s with a max of 8 missiles, wouldn’t add much while still adding something for Russia top tier.
Outside of that, I see only copy paste fillers.
