I have the feeling that top tier ground stuff has pretty much been abandoned, or rather that the few noteworthy things that remain are being preserved for as long as possible. Not even copy paste stuff like SLOP V3 or BVM obr.2023 gets added.

Ammunition has been limited on plenty of other vehicles as a balancing measure, so in the context of War Thunder I don’t see an issue.
Yes, in theory you can take an autocannon vehicle onto the flank (map dependant), but this is only viable if you’re playing against tunnel-visioned players. Anyone competent will know these routes and be watching.
The M3 Bradley is at 8.3, so are you wanting a LAV-25 at 8.0 or even 7.7 where it can fight late WW2 tanks and unstabilised Cold War vehicles?

Why not both? Why not try and get the F-2A to be put in a position or battle-rating where it could also receive AAM-5s?
Probably would be awkward in its current battle rating to ever get AAM-5
That reminds me, where does the Su-30MKM sit, does it sit below the F-2A?
It would most likely raise the BR of the F-2A too high, most of us would prefer to keep it at 13.7, while AAM-3 and AAM-4 corrections would def make it more potent already, but not too strong.

But that perspective is a bit weird to me because I would suspect that someone who really likes the F-2A would want to see it fully fledged out one day, with AAM-4B and AAM-5s.
Will the PL-12A only be for the J-10C or will something else get it?
