Careful, you might offend some people with that reasonable take
Hi all! I want to make a list of future tanks that can be added. I collect them based on the availability of LWS and APS. And I ran into a problem: does the Leclerc tank have APS? I haven’t seen it in any modification, including XLR (I don’t count EMBT). Maybe there are analogues?
The Leclerc Evolution is planned to be equipped with Trophy APS, but the Evolution is still just a prototype
Our merida had LWS, surely its a futuristic tank right? I mean even most of the Leopard 2 series doesn’t have LWS so surely it’s ahead right?
/j
By future tank I meant new modifications of the main tanks. And the presence of LWS+APS is personally my wishlist, which I would like to see. And I didn’t find a similar link on Lecrlerc.
And it grows

Like me, but i wouldnt say i’m offended.
Adding the BeNeLux TT with Indonesian, Suriname, Ruanda-Urundi and Congo as sub-TT would be a pretty solid TT.
Especially naval and ground wise
Nahhh, you will get a couple premium vehicles and copy & paste vehicles in France, AND YOU WILL LOVE IT.
I think it’s time for War Thunder 2, hopefully it will fix all the bad decisions that have been made up to this point right?
Surely it will be better right?
Or at least the next version of the game engine
Dagor 7? would be the next iirc
Been like 4? years since the core game engine got a notable upgrade
Pretty clear its reaching its limits
A new version of the engine isn’t gonna fix any actual problems, it would just make the graphics a tiny bit better or improve the performance by a smidge
Might allow better modeling of some stuff, like radars, CMs, etc
In your dreams maybe lol
Yeah…
With the addition of raytracing they somehow slapped a spoiler and new paint on their old Trabant of a game engine.
To save this engine, they would need to rethink/reconcept and reimplement the lowest core parts of the engine and when that’s done, you won’t see any similarities with the old engine. So effectively, they can just start to program a completely new engine from the ground up and would have the same workload. So why stick to the old dying engine at all?
Theoretically, 2 is greater than 1…
New paint as in rattle can paint job and a spoiler as in two broken hockey sticks and some plywood. Lipstick on a pig in other words.
Do you really expect Gaijin to create a whole new engine?
In what kind of fantasy world are you living?
I’m just waiting for them to announce that Warthunder 2 will be made in Unreal Engine without a single line of code and all just Blueprints (graphical programming in UE) with unoptimized logic, models, etc. because Lumen, Nanite and Blueprints “will do the job just fine and our allnew vibe-coded autoconvert script/progam will port the old game to the new engine automagically without developer interaction” lol
There is no hope on my part, it’s just a sad, hurting “what could possibly be” so it’s rather cynical… The “What If…” of the WT Universe xD
