Surely it is hiding somewhere in the teaser
Well, that’s genuinely your opinion, but when I look at players much better than either of us, they do use the AIM-120Cs. They’re not stupid, they’re doing so for a reason.
maybe theyre giving themselves a challenge
The one good player in every match trying to carry the game with a team full of unskilled premium wallet warriors
lmao
aim 120c5s are great honestly, i take them cause most of the time, you aren’t getting into missile jousts. the extra range really helps
real unfortunately
Well, I kinda found that the C-5 is kinetically defeatable effectively during its whole flight envelope. No other ARH missile is as sluggish as this one (except for the AIM-54).
First merge shots in the beginning yes, everything after that is decided by pure luck.
when do you notice the extra range? i really never do
Has to be, my heart cant take it otherwise /hj
I mean it was shown for a split second, while being unrecognizable… but we can cope…
i could probably take 8 120bs on my f15e for bvr and not notice a difference, but i take the c5s since they have more range
As someone that uses Sedjils on the IRIAF, I wholly agree
You still get into WVR situations where the more maneuverable missiles would be better, but there usually are more opportunities for longer ranged launches
go shoot them at 12-14 km altitude at the beginning of the match, against maneuvering targets the range is really nice and noticable over the a/b
im in a eurofighter though so its super fast
12-14km??
max i go is 10k why tf are u at 14km lmao
Honestly, idk the mechanism by which it should be improved or what is wrong with the missile specifically. Could be a lack of fin aoa, could be how the balance of the missile changes as the propellant burns, which i don’t think is modeled. I will say that the South Korean source i found says that the c-5 is a 38-40g missile in the first place so idk.
edit: actually i think it may have been a taiwanese source. i cant remember rn.
yeah, i climb to 12km, pitch at like 40 degrees, shoot them then head into a notch,
beginning of game only though, rest of the game im at like 8-9km
its mostly noticable when the enemy dosent do excessive maneuvers and turns. if they notch in a straight line it can reach them pretty easily but as soon as they turn or force the missile to overload it loses all energy
Is the BTR3 meant for Japanese TT?
