i could probably take 8 120bs on my f15e for bvr and not notice a difference, but i take the c5s since they have more range

You still get into WVR situations where the more maneuverable missiles would be better, but there usually are more opportunities for longer ranged launches
go shoot them at 12-14 km altitude at the beginning of the match, against maneuvering targets the range is really nice and noticable over the a/b
im in a eurofighter though so its super fast

Honestly, idk the mechanism by which it should be improved or what is wrong with the missile specifically. Could be a lack of fin aoa, could be how the balance of the missile changes as the propellant burns, which i don’t think is modeled. I will say that the South Korean source i found says that the c-5 is a 38-40g missile in the first place so idk.

yeah, i climb to 12km, pitch at like 40 degrees, shoot them then head into a notch,
beginning of game only though, rest of the game im at like 8-9km
its mostly noticable when the enemy dosent do excessive maneuvers and turns. if they notch in a straight line it can reach them pretty easily but as soon as they turn or force the missile to overload it loses all energy
Is the BTR3 meant for Japanese TT?
i just climb at 15 degrees then level out around 8.5km then fire at around mach 1.7, yields the best results for me

considering i still get 1 - 2 kills a lot of the time within the first 3 minutes of the game in the bvr phase i doubt it

I mean I wouldn’t be surprised since Hungary would need something for rank 2/3
