The chances of that is small given how gaijin doesn’t like to add too many of the same variants of aircraft in the non tech tree section
The most evil would be to make it a premium pack then after a single update remove it from sale and only bring it back once a year on the anniversary of the first Top Gun film.

They usually don’t return removed premium packs once their removed in general, like from what I know and the time I’ve played
Some have comeback either as a pack or a GE vic
Doesn’t has to be though even in the US there not ever been more than two variants of the same aircraft. The only other aircraft with multiple variants would be the Spitfire by having 5 while the US only got 3 mustangs
