Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 2)

Ah, I noticed it didn’t have the radar but I thought it was maybe removable

No. GRB does not need more stupidly broken CAS.
We finally are at a point where GRB is turning back into GRB and you just want to re-ignite the CAS vs SPAA arms race

All nations have “new” sams, not good sams which still leaves a bit less than half of all nations without equivalent SPAA. What we dont need more of is more FnF munitions when again a good majority lack a feasible way to defend against them. You’re argument is you blatantly moving on to Britain suffers instead of thinking about this from a perspective as a whole. I wouldn’t want 4 nations which could be on my team to be worthless at dealing with the enemy when it comes.to defending me. That makes my experience worse overall.

This is just next level skill issue.

And the Spyder, EldE and Tan Sam are in turn ADATS equivalents.

Except according to your own logic this is not true. The ADATS is according to your (flawed) logic an 11.0 vehicle. So the Spyder, Tan Sam and EldE are at best also 11.0-11.3 vehicles, meaning they aren’t top AAs.

It’s like saying “oh we can now buff top tier CAS because Britain got the new Rapier at 9.7”.

It is infact removable in real life but the one in the trailer is that distinctive dark green that only nerds like me can see lol

@quartas121 do you know if the Marines also have access to AGM-179MR and not just the base variant?

They do

JAGM-MR can be shot from anything that can shoot a regular JAGM.

That’s cool to hear, but we all know Gaijin

They might want conclusive proof of use etc.

So any Apache without radar can fire it?

If it uses laser or the ir mode

Do you know if the AGM-179 MR has IR+Laser guidance and 16km range?

Isn’t this AGM-179A? (Or whatever the base version is called)

Guess gaijin has a new missile to give everyone a FnF heli eventually if they decide for balance over historical accuracy which is a common trait with them.

I’d imagine they would need the base JAGM to be integrated first. I doubt anything older than an AH-64D could do it

At this point I dont really care.

Sky Sabre is great and we finally have gotten our first top tier ground vehicle. But im fed up of jumping through a million hoops to get a single historically accurate thing for aircraft for air modes because of tanks in the ground gamemode.

we now have new SAMs for everyone. Its unlikely to expect anything new for natiosn that already got something, so its reasonable to assume that in terms of SPAA, what we have is what we’ve got.

So now its time to start looking at fixing the aircraft.

And quite frankly, again. You ahve multiple very good top tier CAS systems, like GBU-39, KH-38MT (which is getting buffed) and AASM. I dont think its unreasoanble to want SAL Brismtone 2s at a minimum

Tornado Gr4 using the 100% same A2G loadout as the GR1 in ARB/ASB is just stupid

But what else can be added.

Do we need to wait 3 years for new SAMs for everyone again so that we can finally get SAL Brimstone 2s, meanwhile soviets get more CAS buffs?

It’s another case of Gaijin having to choose between realism and balance.
If they go for realism they will create a huge problem when it comes to balance, but if they go for balance the US mains will have a meltdown because their missiles aren’t as OP as they should be according to real life specs.

Not likes its stopped gaijin from having vehicles use weapons they couldn’t use Cough cough SAAF GRIPEN with GBU-39’S.
