I mean those equivalent US F/A-18 variants are already in game.
Because let’s be honest, the CF-188 will likely be a copy and paste of either the 18C(early) or 18C(late) weaponry and radar.

I disagree that they are going to be mediocre. They’ll likely be easy mode like the M109. Hell probably even more easy mode since you will have to aim even less.
Unfortunately I doubt we’ll see the M55 before the teaser, I think they’ll waste some time of the teaser revealing them as if they are some hype worthy addition.

It will mostly be a trolly gimmick with an 8 inch gun and 45 seconds reload. Can fit at 5.0 rank III. Most nations lack a 5.0
Are they going to give Russia the M55S? It should be on some Western side, most likely the Israeli Tech Tree, since it’s an Israeli-modified T-55.
Better idea but still not enough to protect them from launching myself to their HQ

Sure, But I was being particular to an AESA (AN/APG-79(V)4) equipt baseline Hornet, as otherwise the Australian variants (e.g. AF/A-18A, or HUG 1, -2, -2.4 configurations etc.) could stand in as equivalents for the US counterparts.
As the AF/A-18G is based of the Super Hornet, and so not quite the same, as a USMC F/A-18C++ “late”, so the AESA really the only thing a Canadian Hornet offers over an Australian configuration.
