I don’t disagree that the Mig-29 shouldn’t have been added with R-27ER, and I also support giving it the R-73s instead, if you look at the likes on your thread you will see that I am one of the people who support your thread.
But it doesn’t change the fact that the alternative back when it was added was to keep it with R-27R and R-60M only.
I don’t think you can change much to the F-15E/I to make them less of a snooze fest.
They are just a missile bus, except they don’t have many of the advantages that a missile bus at lower BRs have.
