Mummy and daddy are fighting again

Yes, for the most part.
Idk if they swapped it over already or not, but it was announced in 2020/2021 that our CF-18s were gonna be using AESA as part of our Hornet Extension Program / HEP.

based upon statshark, apparently that is the case:

If Denying Italy and Germany AESA is based solely upon aircraft performance, then so should Sweden using that same logic.

Heck even Swedish Gripen C performed better:

China should especially be denied AESA using that argument

So "I think this aircraft performs better (even though it doesnt based upon SS) and therefore it should be artificially held back for the sake of “balance” " is just a dumb argument to me.

Quite frankly, the moment the Rafale got AESA instead of its terrible PESA radar. AESA should have been on the table for the EFT.

Its getting boring having to play around all the artificial nerfs the EFT has to deal with already, like SAL brimstones 1s, broken cockpits and the buggy nature of teh CAPTOR-M All year. Let alone also BOL and the terrible state of Aim-9M

and again, no one has actually justified why Rafale, Gripen, F-15, Su-30, etc etc with AESA is fine, but EFT is somehow so unacceptable other than “it buffs Britain, therefore its bad”

The Gripen and F-15 both have M-scan right now, the Su-30’s cant even get AESA afaik.

It shouldn’t even be a strike aircraft/mini B-1 and budget fighter fighting F3R Rafales and T2/3 Typhoons, it should be Gripen NG and some advanced eagle

Reject modern fighter craft, return to ww2 planes.

It is fair to assume that the F-15 will probably get AESA sooner rather than later and the Gripen NG is expected anyday now with something awefully similar in performance to the CAPTOR-E.

It has PESA, which still massively outperforms any and all M-Scan radars in gam.

So again… If Rafale and Gripen NG with AESA is fine. Why is the EFT totally unacceptable. No one as given me an answer for this yet

Are you using win rates

Interesting you didn’t show the FGR4 win rate which is the highest of the Typhoons

I talking the actual performance of the aircraft not the performance of the player and the EFT and Rafale are much better then the rest

Ya, it’s happened already but it’s the current upgrade so it makes no sense to come to the game now.

As it would been limited to weapons of a earlier upgrade, so at that point just make the earlier upgrade with the radar used then.

K/D

it does, but this goes beyond just Britian and if anything affects Germany and Italy more because neither nation has an AESA laternative, Britain has several.

Also there is no reason why the British EFT performs better than the German and especially the Italian Typhoon other than British players have been use to Tornado F3 for years and know what they are doing.

And again. Even in that respect. Would the Typhoon with CAPTOR-M really outperform a Gripen NG with AESA? Does it even outperform the Rafale already in game with AESA?

the 3 US F-15’s havent even gotten BOL with extensive paper and photo evidence. I’ll look forward to it but i have my doubts about when itll happen

Yes but that’s because the FM is abysmal, if it was an Su-27sm with a BARS radar and the 12 R-77 loadout then yeah, it would be an issue for sure.

The Su-30 is unironically the most balanced jet out of all the 14.3’s, it’s not a turbo overperforming ufo, but at the same time it has a much better loadout than something like an Eurofighter.

In a dogfight sure, but if we go to a short to medium range BVR fight. The Su-30SM has some major advnatages. Had an Su-30 the other day focus fire me down in ARB. Every time I defeated a missile and tried to turn hot to engage it, I had to defend against another, on the 4th missile I made a mistake and it killed me. Let alone all the times an Su-30 just intercepted my missile and then fired 4 more back at me.

Or even the times hwere I couldnt even find the Su-30 locking me because CAPTOR-M couldnt find the target in an ASB match.

Sure the EFT has a good gunfighting performance… But I feel liek this fact gets used to outshadow every other fact about the EFT and is somehow justification for nerfs and restrictions (especially as when you try to use the same argument for something like the Tonrado F3 to get buffs, people then seem to pretend dogfight performance doesnt matter and its now the radar, RWR, and CM performance that only matters)

Get that abomination away from me.

I’ve seen one of these at RAF Cosford such an overlooked aircraft.

Zzzz all this jet talk. We all know we’re all looking forward to M55 the most.

It doesn’t help that you keep acting like the gunfight performance is the only thing that the EFT is great at.

There is a reason why most sane people would pick the EFT for long(ish?) range BVR over any other plane.

It’s just the best all round plane. The Rafale is broken at close range but mediocre at longer ranges, the F-15E is mediocre at close range and good at long(ish) ranges (still outperformed by the EFT in this combat), Su-30SM is mid at close range and okay at longer ranges and the Hornet is…well it’s a Hornet.

Meanwhile while the EFT is not clear cut the best in any section, it’s among the best everywhere.
