tbf I fully expect gaijin to limit it to one missile at a time to its the same as SACLOS sams
I would not be surprised. Especially considering that proving the tracker multi-track will be quite a challange, that is untill they release the official designation of the E/O.
I am curious if we will get the skysabre before multi vic launchers as it can act as a single unit just not as effective
impossible, you are just too hurry, most of the vehicles are able to operate as single unit.
and skysabre has a problem, not sure it can operate without radar, it has DL, but no fire control radar, it still needs something to provide fire control information.
usually things like BUK has its own fire control radar to operate
EX has better maneuverability than CX?
It has a E/O (the smaller mast)
what’s E/O?
Electro optical sensor. Basically a sight
Electro optical
I disagree considering they can add plenty of equivalent SPAA to other nations.
If you have issues with CAS finally facing retaliation, I’ll have to heartily disagree. If worst comes to worst, Gaijin can add ARMs and Man-in-the-Loop.
That’s what the COPIUM emote was for
I sincerely wish Germany would produce a Skyranger 30/35 with IRIS-Ts strapped to it instead of just anti-drone missiles.
that’s enough, like Type 81.
but still not a very good idea without radar vehicle imo
yes they could but they would be jumping over a LOT of other systems to do that
I mean I still want CAS to be viable with a 40km range tho all CAS will be dead in the water since every map is smaller then 40km from the battlefield to the broder of the map
Ofc lack of radar cuts its capability greately, but the E/O is there if needed.
Don’t get me wrong, I love to play CAS, but I hate being on the receiving end of it as well.
I would much rather it take more wherewithal to play CAS than it currently does. Right now it’s just a click-and-point adventure, while most SPAA struggles.
40km ranges also allow for, like I said, the addition of MitL and ARMs, which would make CAS more dynamic than just doming defenseless players in tanks. Forcing CAS to focus on doing SEAD first at least adds another barrier between tanks and CAS.
Gaijin could also force planes to start on the runway, and/or spawn points could be moved back quite a bit.
Ok, that was the last thing i was expecting.
EX will have better performance than the C due to the engine power and better thrust curve than even the PW-229.
CX to EX would be negligible the “extra” weight from the dual cockpit is offset almost entirely by the loss of a fuel tank.
The difference in weight between the C and E is almost entirely from the strengthened airframe, if you look from C to D it is negligible.
The “biggest” reason in favor of the CX I would argue is certain MX actions are much easier in the single seater, but EX makes way more sense from a “future proofing” and cost standpoint
I feel how that frog looks lol
