Though I still think the F-2 should come first. We do not need the F-5TH yet. The F-2 would give Japan a competent and accurate Multirole aircraft (looking at you, F-16A OCU).

Thai Gripen E (photoshop made by SAAB themselve) 🤪, It is rumored that the Thai government will sign an order to purchase the Gripen E next month. If a deal is signed, it would be like a ‘yet to be delivered’ logic, like the Badger IFV.

Thailand looks so fun. F-5TH Super Tigris (Python 4s, Derby, AIM-9M, IRIS-T), another Alpha Jet upgrade, AT-6TH, F-16ADF/AM (MLU)/T-50TH. I think thats it for modern aircraft.

Why is this such a new thing for people. We have heaps of prototypes and demonstrators in game.
The Badger isn’t even incomplete, there are multiple fully functional vehicles.
Meanwhile the Thai Gripen E just won’t exist for at least a couple more years, so we can’t really expect it before it’s delivered in 2029, or at least the first aircraft starts production.

We would all rather have AJAX or Warrior CTAS 40.

Different vehicles for a different BR. Ajax would likely be 10.3-10.7 and Warrior CTAS 40 likelyt 10.0-10.3 while the Badger would likely be 9.7 at most
True and it looks like it isnt going to get a spall liner and proposed protection systems.
Do we know if it at least has IRST for air tracking and a proxy round?
