I imagine they’ll do something similar with this new tier of missile, maybe on an F/A-18, or Jaguar IM, event vehicles or something similar to that.

they did it on an event vehicle with the SU-25BM, and that gives everyone a chance to try it, so I’d hope for something similar again
Something that wouldn’t be too terribly missed from the research tree, so like the Jaguar IM, Aussie Hornet, or Saudi Hawk

Gaijin had the chance to do that but again they continue to only allow 1-3 nations be the spotlight which sucks because it allows for vehicles to arrive far too late. (Shackleton by 6 years lmao)

I’m confused. One of you is saying the F-15 (didnt specify which) and the F-16 (also didnt specify which) isn’t meta defining. Which feels true. And the other is saying the US doesn’t need a meta aircraft because of some reason until everyone else catches up.
Then there’s a sizable portion of the community in agreement that the F-18[F/A-18] is about a year late and will very much be DoA. Which fits the vibe the two responses (including yours) I was given on “how would this thing be meta”.
So why doesn’t the US need a meta defining aircraft if they don’t really have one?
I personally disagree with the notion the US shouldn’t get anything until everyone else catches up. If “catching up” was the goal, and not surpassing like the EFT and Rafale sorta kinda did, then you are telling perhaps the largest pool of players and realistically Gaijins main revenue generating nation to sit tight for…how many updates? A years worth? Especially when a lot of nations don’t have much left to give that isnt an American aircraft that Gaijin has already said will not go to anyone else before the US.
I don’t understand how there is any hype for this vehicle at this point. Its either going to need a cracked kit be viable at BR people think it will slide into (13.0-13.7 as Gaijin has provided zero evidence they will increase top tier from 14.0 any time soon), or it will come with a medicore kit for a BR it will rarely fight in exclusively.
