I’ll need you to give us a source for that.
I mean barring the fact germany is the home of swiss vehicles they literally have no reason to have because there is nothing linking said vehicles to the german tech tree?
If Spain is a subtree, then so is Slovakia, Saudi Arabia, Portugal, Philippines, Oman, North Korea, Lithuania, Kuwait, Kazakhstan, Jordan, Ireland, Iran, Greece, Denmark, Cuba, Colombia, Brazil, Bangladesh, Syria, and New Zealand
I didn’t say they were a sub tree, I specified currently they are implemented similarly to one without being flat out stated as one.
They currently have two Swiss vehicles, the FFA P-16 and the Hunter F.58.
Switzerland has never been confirmed as a subtree for Germany
Yeah, but they are all just as close to subtrees as Spain is for Italy
cool then I’ll move it down to the other part of the list (even though we already know that its going to be Germanys sub tree)
We literally don’t
It isn’t a subtree until we get it confirmed. Right now Swiss vehicles are just in the German TT. Not a subtree.
I like it the most
I think their difference, like the GDR and the FRG, does not belong to the sub line
I dont think they’re a sub tree either, rather more of a dual ownership thing. But some people treat it as one hence why I pointed it out and said “if you wanna consider it one”
Every vehicle from X nation in the US can be linked back to the US. There is no exclusivetivity for them being to the US. You can’t just say “Oh well IRAN has 1 aircraft added to the game and it in the US TT so Iran is exclusively US.” Get out of her with the BS.
UK already has 2 sub trees it can expand from. Which some of them are already cutting into that 300 number of yours.
Seriously though, Spain does not belong in the same category as Pakistan, Argentina, Norway, or Switzerland
I think PAK, Myanmar, and Bangladesh are more suitable as subtrees in China, just like the Low Countries Three Kingdoms subtrees in France
No that’s not quite how it works-
Sub tree importance should be based less on raw number of vehicles and more off of “is the progression through this tree comfortable?”
Sweden is a small nation, but it really doesn’t have pain points throughout its rather small tree. Lot of lineups ever since Finland got added.
Meanwhile you have larger nations such as France that has a gigantic gap between 9.7 and 12.0.
Gaijin needs to fix the quoting system it looks like you took a quote from me.
Subtrees are first and foremost used to fill gaps and add diversity.
yep, those 2 subtrees are 28 out of 350+ vehicles, still nowhere near most, in fact not even on the level of Finland or Hungary yet
They are currently exclusive and therefore de facto subtrees for the definition you gave.
and my argument has always been to keep nations together, so if they do add more Iranian vehicles, they should be to the US subtree.
You also still haven’t answered how Australia would harm Britain’s national identity, given that Britain already has a significant number of US manufactured vehicles in its tree, and that is most of what Australia would be
kinda what I was getting at. They shouldn’t be used to just fatten up a tree. They should be used first and foremost to help trees that actually have gaps in progression.
Now assuming nobody is in dire need of help? then you can use it to add diversity
