nah, the 5F one is brown, also the camo we see here is literally in a Nesher.
Given that the image seems to have been requested from NASA, presumably to be added to Wikipedia, it stands to reason that it’s accurate, also the image doesn’t particularly look like a concept drawing.
But unless you contact NASA yourself, there is no way to refute the claim really

Actually it’s a pretty simple to figure out it’s fake, going by the tail number it’s the preproduction F-15B SN/71-0291, pretty much the most photographed Eagle out there as it was the main sales pitch and display airframe. I haven’t been able to find any photos bar this one of it with 2D nozzles or Canards.

Sure, unique stuff deserves to be added and if it is something from a nation that isn’t a main or sub tree, it should go to the nation that makes the most sense (history, help with development, political relationship, etc).
If War Thunder was still a plane-only game there could have been the possibility of having a international tree for all the stuff that doesn’t have a home otherwise, but that doesn’t work with the game having ground trees as well.
If a nation has enough vehicles there would be the possibility of it becoming its own tree, but judging by Gaijins stance on India the chances of that happening for any nation seem to be pretty slim (despite their apparent plans to add more trees).
This is what people have been asking for. I am not in any way claiming that all nations in the world should have their TT in WT. It is clear that we are talking about those nations that do not have the potential to have their own TT but at the same time have the potential to be a small TT (in short, the concept of subtree was an invention of Gaijin, not ours. We just think it can be implemented better.
I still don’t understand why WT hasn’t leveraged the implementation of minor nations’ vehiclds more effectively. The idea of adding pages/tabs is great.
Take India as an example: It’s being added as a British subtree (as they’re doing now), but instead of relying on event and premium c&p vehicles, it should be placed on a dedicated page/tab within the British tech tree.
Start with an initial batch of vehicles—mostly C&P variants, but including some indigenous designs (similar to how subtrees are introduced in major updates). Over time, new content could be added incrementally. Meanwhile, players interested in India could build lineups using British vehicles alongside the Indian subtree. Eventually, if the Indian tree grows large enough and has potential, it could become independent (though this is optional).
This approach would preserve space in the British tech tree for its own unique vehicles while consolidating foreign/related vehicles into a single organized section.
Most major nations that develop their own weapons are already in the game. For smaller nations, they could be incorporated as separate pages/tabs under nations they share historical, industrial, or regional ties with.
I would like to clarify that this is not a personal request, it is a general request from many people in this community. Also, the customization options are crap and the content in the marketplace is not even well indexed and is very limited.

if you look closely at the missile rail, you can see the missile rail for the Shafrir 2 too, not for the Magic-1 only, let me remember you that the Nesher its a Mirage 5 completly made in israel and also argentina adquired Neshers renaming them to IAI Dagger/Finger.
I’ve found this one, but the tail number is off by a single digit

It’s the actual 2/3D nozzle test bed (71-0290), not sure it retained the weapons computer as it was never used for weapons trials, just flight trials.
I mean, even if it did retain that stuff, I couldn’t imagine Gaijin adding it.
of course its a mirage 5, the nesher its a mirage 5 too XD and this camo
was made for the Nesher and in the blog they made for the moment of valour of argentina they first said that the Nesher was going to recive this camo but it didnt appear on it and also didnt go for the 5F too, soo… the speculations begun sometime ago about a possible argentinean subtree for israel thing that have much probabilities of happening in the next months i think.

Yes, but the Argentinian camo ingame is not on the Nesher. It 's on the Mirage 5f instead.
