personally if i was gaijin i just folder tech demos under the orginal vehicle
It isn’t the STOL/MTD though, it’s a predecessor to it
so F-15SE foldered under an F-15E (late)?
still pretty cool though
I would agree. It would be unreasonable to say that Gaijin should add vehicles of literally every nation. There are some that wouldn’t add anything to the game…
But there are a lot of vehicles that are unique, and would bring something new to the game. Including examples like Canada, Australia, Turkey, and Poland.
It doesn’t have to be a zero-sum game. Gaijin’s rules on how many vehicles can be in a tree, or in a rank/line are arbitrary. Only the “five lines maximum” rule seems to depend on external factors.
But again, what about vehicles unique to that country? If War Thunder’s goal is to represent the history of military vehicles, shouldn’t representing even obscure or forgotten machines be important?
And if those vehicles are going to be included, then where?
i didnt know its name all i see people reference it as is the stols predeccesor so sorry
yeah
this is a concept drawing
maybe we could have F-15SR or YF-23 as squadrons too
mach 1.72 supercruise on a fighter jet in 1991
Nah, it seems to be a real picture, but of a pre-production F-15B with special 2-D thrust vector nozzles
the argentine one is for the israeli Nesher that didnt get added to it also i dont know why it wasn´t actually, maybe gaijin wants to add the argentinean subtree to israel and they save this for later.
I’ve found some other references to it by looking through pictures using google lens
In the files, it 's actually attached to the Mirage 5f.
nah, the 5F one is brown, also the camo we see here is literally in a Nesher.
Given that the image seems to have been requested from NASA, presumably to be added to Wikipedia, it stands to reason that it’s accurate, also the image doesn’t particularly look like a concept drawing.
But unless you contact NASA yourself, there is no way to refute the claim really
It 's on the 5f ingame.
You need to find a bunker and hold as long as you can XD
Actually it’s a pretty simple to figure out it’s fake, going by the tail number it’s the preproduction F-15B SN/71-0291, pretty much the most photographed Eagle out there as it was the main sales pitch and display airframe. I haven’t been able to find any photos bar this one of it with 2D nozzles or Canards.
