Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 2)

But why specifically the Australian one and not just the US AIM. Never made sense to me because the US could get either, but the AIM could have gone a few places

it shouldnt though. abrams is the only unique US production MBT in the whole game

id prefer a US AIM anyways, but due to rounds and armor that wouldve been top BR which isnt allowed for non-tt

listen I want an Abrams in a tech tree that isn’t the U.S. for the simplest and pettiest reason imaginable. Because I know that no matter what nation gets it, it’s going to be performing better than the U.S. ones

So the U.S. players cant hide behind the excuse of “but but abrams bad!”

Abrams is a really good tank. Sure I think there’s a few things they should do to it (like removable ARAT II from the SEPv2, armor stuff, etc., as well as hoping the eventual M1A2 SEPv3 is ironed out/good) but it’s got fast reload, pretty good survivability, and it’s quick. Just gotta play it right as with any tank.

Just give it to the most hated nation at top tier

May I ask how this is the case? The jet would not need to move up much if any with the introduction of AIM-9Ls as unlike its american counterparts it does not have HMS, AIM-7Ms, and leading edge slats. The only area that it is not at a disadvantage to the F-4J/S is that it has better engine performance at low altitude. All 3 of the British Phantoms ESPECIALLY the F-4J(UK) are just flat out worse than their American equivalents in every way. The AIM-9L would give it a slightly different purpose compared to the Americans and would give it some advantage in the close range department while the Americans have the must bigger advantage at range.

But gaijin ready AIM-4 Falcon this year or next year ?

They’ve only mentioned that weapon when they’ve stated it 's not planned to come, so it and any aircraft dependent on it 's addition don’t have any evidence to be coming as things stand currently.

Gaijin might add another domestic USA fighter aircraft rank VI & VII but without AIM-4 ?

So gaijin might ready AIM-4 Falcon 2 years ?

The evidence for AIM-4 and aircraft which require AIM-4 is currently none, so a timeframe cannot be attached.

what about AIM-26A and AIR 2 though?

Nuclear warhead Air-to-Air Missile, my guess

Really depends on who’s common sense though, from the BR change suggestions in every BR change thread it’s pretty clear that a very large part of the community has no clue about balance and common sense.

What do you mean “for some random reason”??? It’s an Abrams, it’s US designed and produced, that is not “some random reason”.

Which also means that the Australian Abrams and Canadian Leopards had/have absolutely no reason to go to Britain, seeing how Britain already has 11.7-12.0 MBTs.

So I’m fine with that line of thinking.

Eh I wouldn’t be so quick to speak for all German mains. Plenty of them were seriously asking for the Polish M1A1 FEP, SEPv3 etc.

That’s actually the opposite of what it means. They decided an Australian one should go to UK, so there’s also good reason an Australian Abrams should go to UK.
Btw, from what place of greed does America think the Abrams shouldn’t be allowed out of the US tech tree? Russians already have their MBTs in multiple trees, Germans already have their MBTs in multiple tech tree, nobody wants Italian MBTs but I digress…eventually other tech trees will get an Abrams. If South Korea comes to a tree other than USA, it will get the K1A1. They could easily end up giving it to China for the Taiwan sub tree. Like, it’s going to happen somewhere eventually, but you want it all to yourself lol.

Who decided that? You? Some other random british main?

Because Gaijin clearly didn’t decide that.

I’m not against the Abrams going to other trees, if they have a good reason or connection to it. Like the M1A2T for example, Taiwan is part of the Chinese tree (leaving the whole political debate out of this please) so I’m 100% in favor of the M1A2T being added to the Chinese tree.

For Britain? "MuH CoMmOnWeAlTh"is not a good connection for me, and I guess Gaijin agreed seeing as the australian AIM is in the US tree.

You mean the Taiwan that is already very much part of the Chinese tree? Have you ever even opened the Chinese tree lol?

funfact, THE ONLY LEOPARD in the Entire game which is an TT one and has the correct max speed
all others are capped at 68km/h or 61km/h (which isnt an prototyp)

Gaijin decided that the F-111C should go to UK. That is what I said. You think someone other than the people that make the game decided that?
And I literally just said Taiwan was part of the Chinese tech tree, and that they could get an Abrams. What did you misunderstand?
