Yeah the F/A-18 is fine because Australia really didn’t improve on it that much, but i’m talking more like germany getting the swiss one first or the best F16 in game not being in the us tech tree.
We’ve already been told that the F/A-18 would either go to the US first or arrive for both the US and other nations at the same time

There were no mentions of that so far.
We have no idea what models of F18 we are getting. The finnish F18 uses the upgraded engines that later F18’s would use so probably a late model C if the Finnish F18 are to be added.
It wasn’t really financial issues more of there was no value in acquiring a SAM system when the current opposition had no Aircraft.
Just a few sites online mention that pressure from the 2010’s economy caused the US to push money towards mor important projects, im not from the US so i just have different sites to go off of.
I get you but if the US wanted to further the development they would have. It wasn’t lack of funds just lack of need. So they ripped funds from the SLAMRAAM to fund development of more ordnance and other things that fit more into the current conflict.

Night sim maps would be fun, would make night vision actually useful for jets.
