Lmao no we didnt
American mig23 (MiG-23MS) is too bad it only has R-3S/R and mig21 radar
If they already have an F-16, what’s the harm in another?
How so? It doesn’t have any of the (WT-relevant) ACOL upgrades of the A-11B. No LITENING, no JDAMs, no new cockpit.
He made the list to piss off people lol
Is cockpit different for ACOL? I didn’t know that.
I mean in the game it’s called just “AMX” (If nothing has been changed).
Also weirdly enough B variant suggestion is listed as implemented while A is still opened.

And correct me if I’m wrong, but in the files it’s called “A-11B”.
From Leonardo:
This ACOL upgrade, initiated in 2003 and completed in July 2012, involved adding an Inertial/GPS navigation system, new high-precision weaponry. The Litening pod was integrated for target illumination and laser targeting, while the RecceLite became the main reconnaissance sensor, with the ability to take and transmit real-time photographs and videos via a broadband digital data link. Friend/Foe communication and identification systems were also upgraded to the NGIFF (New Generation Identification Friend or Foe) standard, and all cockpit panels on the single-seater aircraft were made compatible with pilots’ night vision (NVG) systems. To enable pilots to handle these new operational capabilities effectively, the cockpit was updated with a modern multifunctional LCD colour display supported by a powerful Computer Symbol Generator (CSG) with Digital Map functions. The first ACOL was delivered to the operational squadrons in August 2007.
Please don’t get me started on Gaijin and their vehicle names. They regularly conflate company and military designations.
Well, thanks) Honestly I thought that A-11A would be implemented differently to the game, based on manual available online, limited to just unguided ground ordnance (kinda like “Tornado IDS”), while A-11B would have all possible options.
They may very well do such a “U-turn” in the future, but for now, the AMX in-game corresponds to the A-11A.
Ghibli Is the company nickname actually, the military one (at least the one used by the pilots) happen to be Topone (wich mean something like “big mouse”).
The AMX wasn’t assigned the designation A-11A until 2009 though when Italy implemented a standard alphanumeric designation system for all aircraft.
So it’s reasonably for gaijin to call the early variant AMX unless it has some specific post-2009 features. It was AMX for the first 20 years of service.
That’s the point, it’s copy paste, but bad for everyone lmao.
I saw some people talking about it ageeees ago, probably in jest, but seemed good for annoying people.
The ground side was a little bit of a thought experiment in how many nations I could reasonably C&P a Scorpion (or something bassd on it) into, post- revolution Iran has tonnes of Scorpions to choose from, and has decent relations with Russia. So in this imaginary world where Gaijin is actively trying to piss people off, it works.
Truely the most Gaijin thing I could think of, (it was either that or event, but I used that already)
You see, that would be something actually interesting to be added, but that’s not the point of the list, it’s supposed to be a bad update when you distil it down (excessive copy paste, manufacturer nations not getting their shiny, and genuinely terrible additions, whilst paywalling the interesting stuff)
Oh I know, but people would still cry copy paste, which was the point. The American side was a bit of “it’ll annoy the Germans” but also being TT it’ll block an actually American opinion from being added for a bit which will piss off the purists, two birds one stone.
By nickname I meant official ones, not pilot or crew ones. This MoD MDS document lists the Ghibli name as well, so it’s definitely not just a company name.
True. We usually use the latest names in such cases of renamings (i.e. AF-1E instead of FJ-4B, F-9E - F9F-5, F-9J - F9F-8, F-8C - F8U-2, etc.), unless we can reliably date it earlier than the renaming happened. (FJ-4B (VMF-232) remained so for example, because of the Bullpups.)
At the same time, unfortunately weaponry or skins are usually not reliable, as the former are reserved for balance decisions, while the latter is often mismatched.
Hi @Smin1080p_WT. I was just wondering if we soon will see more full internal modules for helicopters. It’s been 2 updates since the AH64 and KA52 got it, with no more changes since then. It’d be nice to have news on that, because the current damage model really isn’t great, with loosing modules just being a matter of getting some shrapnel from a missed missile/proxy fuze. Some helicopters would really benefit from this, such as the Euro Tigers with redundant systems, or flying tanks like MI8 that can tank many shells but loose the ability to fire it’s own armement far before being actually shot down
Fake, not enough C&P for Russian stuff to put in Britain, Italy, and Sweden via subtrees. (And Germany but that’s via Eastern Germany)
He’s making a reference to the people who claimed that Canada should be a German subtree a couple of weeks ago. Lol
T is actually more relaxed than O and especially B when it comes to arms sales to the ROC.
O blocked a lot of stuff but at least approved things that could go under the guise of obsolescence prevention (Viper upgrade to our F-16A/Bs, for example); B in fact clawed back some of the items approved under T’s first term. We are very, very lucky B couldn’t manage to do the same to M1A2T or F-16 Block 70 because they’re meant to fill in voids that are either very soon to come or already here.
Okay I’ll stop here.
*she, and somewhat, the goal of the list is to piss people off and Canadian stuff is an easy way of doing, a better option for a FV101 equivalent in the German TT is infact the Saladin armoured car, which was used by the German boarder patrols for a bit.
Further harms uniqueness of US
You where fine with the US FV101, Mig-23, & KF-41 I put on that list lmao
