If france gets the 2A6A3 before germany…
I already find, maybe unpopular opinion, the jh-7 to be extremely over tiered, cant see anything good in it at all…
So i cant see any appeal in a even worse prem jh-7
So the dutch won’t really have a military soon enough since it will mostly be integrated within the German one? Like they do have it but on lease?
Ideally they should never receive the A3 model, simply because it’s not even Dutch, as all of them are German.
Ideally the dutch shouldnt go to france anyway
Ideally India shouldn’t have gone to Britain but here we are.
The Dutch have only integrated three armoured divisions with the respective German ones into the NATO cooperation pact, where only the Leopards are leased from the Germans as that was cheaper. All other heavy armoured equipment is Dutch owned and under Dutch command.
Other parts of the Dutch armed forces are in cooperation pacts with another nation, namely Belgium:
-
Nuclear/Biochemical/Disaster response are a Belgium/Netherlands cooperation.
-
The Dutch Navy is under the BeNeSam (=Belgium & Netherlands Samenwerking/cooperation) admirality. (same uniforms, same ships for some parts and same training as well for some ships).
-
The Dutch Air Force shares the BeNeLux airspace, as both Belgium and The Netherlands share the Defence.
I figure I could make the JH-7A work in sim but if they are making it a pure base bomber instead of multirole jet then I think they are making the wrong choice.
We have three armored divisions?
Sadly i gave it a check and it dosent
Yes, to quote a reply I made for someone else:
You’re confused man. We (the Royal Dutch Army) haven’t got even a single armored division [to quote you, "The Dutch have only integrated three armored divisions."]. We have a Mechanized Brigade, an Airmobile Brigade, and a Light Brigade, none of which is a Division, nor Armored; the only (important for WT unit) one that has been integrated into the Bundeswehr is the 43rd Mechanized and even then their command structure isn’t unified, so the 43rd answer to the Royal Army and the 414th answers to the Bundeswehr.
In fact, in the whole of the Netherlands as of today there’s only a single Armored Battalion (414th), and it answers to the Bundeswehr since it’s theirs to begin with.
edit: actually sorry, the 13th has been integrated into the 10th Division and the 11th into the Rapid Force Division, I forgot about them (well, they’re not really important).
That makes much more sense.
I might’ve been, but they do refer to the 13th and the 43rd as armoured in the sources I cited, so I referred as such to them. The airmobile was also referred as such before that. These were also larger before, now they are smaller.
Nowadays they are indeed not even closely numerous enough to be referred as such. Nothwithstanding the low amount of armoured vehicles in Dutch inventory.
Yes, I’ve also said that so many times haha
Your sources must be ancient considering they’ve been downgraded from the Divisional status decades ago, heh, but it’s all good.
Yes, I’ve also said that so many times haha
Which is what worries me, Gaijin might completely disregard that the 414th is a German Company, using German owned equipment & under German command, and give their equipment to the French TT on the basis of “well, 43rd is Dutch so”. At that point there’d be no more “red-lines” in terms of what a nation can receive and what it can’t.
Guys, can we please focus the discussion on War Thunder.
Dutch vehicles are part of the BeNeLux sub tree.
That’s the only thing that matters game wise. Debating back an forth about IRL situations is not relevant here.
We should make a separate thread for Benelux discussion
Well, Leopard 2A6MA2s and MA3s aren’t Dutch ;)
