there are no modern prop sea planes really in warthunder to my knowledge. I think modern naval french planes would be added first aswell

That post is too simplistic. Something can have different wing layout from another aircraft but still be a derivative. I would refer you to the first J-10 suggestion thread.

sea jet planes are in warthunder. Sea hawk is probably the best example of one + all the american ones

Looking at the handfull of cool stuff some nations gonna have, Gaijin BETTER not give us a shitty coastal start like it was for bluewater.
Because if the reason we don’t get nothing interesting for air or ground is because coastal, and coastal gonna be like 5 ships while 4 are US/UK copy past, with no missile boat or else that are on par with others nation, it’s gonna be riot .
