I was more referring to a F-104G early without aim9Js at maybe 10.0 as a cas plane
kinda assuming there smin lol, it was just the first couple of options I could think of off the top of my head
just play the allmighty SHAR or an AV8B+ for a realistic flight performance of a Fully loaded F-18 and on top the AV even has the same radar as the F-18C so you get to experience its combat abillities too! (but dont use HMD the swiss and finnish hornets didnt have that)

Feel free to make suggestions for the F-4Fs to change their name if that’s the case. But we dont currently plan to introduce any more F-4Fs. That’s for certain.

No it’s just my excessive PTSD from every time someone says F-4F and AIM-9Js after years of people claiming it never used them at all.

Swiss F-18 very much so have HMD. They also have the AN/APG-73 Radar which is the improved version that also the US Navy F-18Cs use.

oh no I know it used them, my point was if the plane can carry weapons but said nation never owned the weapons, refer to the previous examples. If a swiss F/A-18 made its way into the German tree I could see the devs willing to add some guided weapons to help with Germany lack of guided cas or well multirole planes at top tier
yes, but why not remove the aim9Js and call it early or take the marineflieger version
but thats not the problem
the problem is the Swiss F-18s didnt have A2G capability as it was specifically removed

welp guess germany is just out of luck then on that part
MFG2 was the LAST german User of Starfighters
they had them in use until long after the Tornado was introduced
tbh i just find the starfighter cool and want more.
I know, the swiss wouldnt add any A2G capabillities where germany is lacking some
it also wouldnt add any A2A capabillities a Typhoon Block 1 couldnt do just as well
so I see absoloutely no reason to add the swiss to the germans
