Germany is already extremely lucky to get this aircraft in the first place, so I don’t think they would have much ground to complain on.
Let’s be honest, no matter how much you repeat “muh A-10C!!1!” To yourself, this is just a Germany/China glazing update (which I don’t really mind too much personally). So the rest of the community won’t be too coöperative/happy about it.
i would suggest the F-14A can only carry 2 AIM-54, the F-15C can only carry 4, the Gripen is only allowed to take IR missiles. Su-27 it not allowed to use the R-27ER bc of reasons. there is no valid reason to hold it back lol.
other than just beeing salty its may not come for the US.
like i said there is no valid reason. The F-15C can already spam 8 AIM-120 and the F-15C is a better Plattform.
I know, which further supports my point that Germany is lucky to get it early and has no ground to complain if they happen to get worse IR missiles that it had irl.
Besides that, you mention it’s less work for Gaijin to just give it 9Ms, but how? If it’s the first and only 18C this update it’s just as much work to just C&P 9P-4 to it.
How? AIM-9P5 is already in game and the Swiss used them so whats your point? And the P5 is worse than the 9M and 9Li anyway. They will most likely get the P5
Pretty funny AA prototype: 64 x 40mm rockets (~1kg mass for 400g explo at 1100 m/s) ready to be fire in different mode to saturate the sky.
Burst of 8, 16 or 32 rockets.
Rockets shotgun AA :D
Project for a close defense weapon, based on a spin stabilised 40mm
rocket with a length of 370mm and a range of 1500m. The magazine
was housing 64 rockets, that could be fired in salvoes of 8, 16, or 32 rockets,
aimed by the integral radar or an optical system.
The magazines could be replaced within 30 seconds, kill probabilty against a target in 1500m
was expected to be around 70%.
