Nowhere is a solution for weaker HP/t ratio
There is no stereotypical NATO tank role, all countries don’t have the same use/doctrine/tactic behind their MBTs.

The modified drives allow it to have the acceleration of a 2A4, which def makes up for the lower hp/t.
If we exclude top tier, there’s still some low serie T-80U upgrade packages (UE-1, UA), T-72BA and others.

Well these sure dont fit into the “fast”, when you think of NATO MBTs as of general.
Probably easy explained by a doctrine wich stand less on mobility.
