Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 1)

ok moan about it but a countries vehicles no matter the origin should be kept together in my opinion

Highly doubt that’s the case.
I highly doubt they’re ever gonna add Benelux stuff to a decent scale in the first place.

Even then, a whole sub-tree shouldn’t be expected for the addition of a single fighter.

Hence independent option ))))

Which isn’t always the case

Surely you realize that I’m just jesting atm

It won’t be the whole reason no, but France has room for a sub tree and atm the Benelux seems like it’s going to be Frances sub tree.

I found that a low excuse, since F-35 Stealth would be totally useless in the actual WT maps, and Rafale futur upgrade aim to make it stealther too. Also stealth is not everything.

Without talking about the next gen planes by some Euro country with France in (perhaps we also gonna withdraw, who know xD)

The average British TT game, devouring vehicles of all nations

but if we cannot create a brand new tree due to factors of C&P, lack of wide ranged vehicles and BR issues, creating a tree that is not nation specific, and have it only be researchable by countries similar to it (I.E. you could research the polish tree with USSR as at one point they were apart of the same country/organization/alliance) or some other option like how you can research helicopters with ground vehicles

Such helicopter-esque researching feature isn’t a thing in game yet when it comes to whole countries, so such assumptions can’t be made unfortunately.

Regardles, the copy paste in Benelux is really not so bad as many people make it out to be.
It would arguably make for a more unique tree than Israel could even be at it’s peak.
Lineups wouldn’t be an issue either when looking at what’s available.

It’s a viable pick for an independent tree, it just isn’t as appealing as some other options due to lack of more unique high tier aircraft.

Have you looked at the suggestion section?

All of them have plenty plus we could easily bring up C&P numbers.

I have notes saved for Canada’s tree and I know of a post for them for the Benelux tree.

And it is far less C&P than you think.

Where it seems is your blinded by the MBT/top tier only look.

Most to all of unique stuff comes from WW2 and the 50-60s.

A guy who i was just arguing with said that they will probably just give an american f18 a canadian paint scheme. As much as I dont want to believe it, it is true. Do you still think that the CF18 is likely for the British TT?

Now give us the Centauro Lancia armed with an adats turret :/

Depends. on the case of Skins it depends on what is made on WarThunder Live.

The time for an easy C&P hornet for the UK tree is gone. (It’s too late for an 80s hornet) and all Canadian Hornets have domestic modifications after that. and are not C&P of the US ones.

It all depends on the plans for the ZA Gripen. and fancy missile fighters in general.

Well, a UK CF-188 isn’t impossible it’s unlikely now. So I’ve switched back to pushing for a Canadian TT.

We are weeks away from the beginning of the 2.37 devblog season…

Well, their ground and air TT are pretty big and could be independent.
The place where BeNeLux would shine the most is at naval.
It would be ashame to put BeNeLux as a sub-TT, because then the naval TT would be neglected.

We have to see what the future brings us - because now - it’s only a debate.

Yeah unfortunately that is true, maybe once they run out of new modern vehicles to add they will start adding other tech trees
