Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 1)

And I wasn’t talking about that.

I think we could see missiles like ASRAAM within the next 6-9 months, but only on very low performance CAS aircraft like the Tornado Gr4/Jaguar Gr3A for ASRAAM and Tornado ASSTA3 for IRIS-T.

But im doubting we’d see them on an A2A platform for a good 12-18 months

I doubt we’ll see either on proper fighters until we get things like the JAS39E Early and Typhoon Tranche 3.

I can’t say for other vehicles in this list, but this is the Bouvet :

1890’s ironclad sunk at Gallipoli in 1915. IMO, Gaijin would never bother to model a warship with no sistership easy to replicate (It was part of the “Sample fleet” program in which each ship was a different prototype), with widely outdated armament, and hard to fit in a tech tree, especially with that kind of disparate weaponry.

So yeah, this is absurd, especially given nowadays plans from Gaijin. Besides, there are far too many vehicles for one leak list.

Can i say that if this list is true thats the most gaijin way to give Sweden a tech tree heavy as possible?

The Kv1, a famous and iconic tank in finnish service. Instantly recognized as a Scandinavian tank.

Miss me with that shit.

The Churchill, a tank a swedish officer once saw a picture of in a book as a child.

hell yeah this is exactly what the players want.

This seems exactly bizarre and out of touch enough to be gaijin logic.

it’s not the one in question

the fact that he mention’s AAW ( Anti-aircraft warfare ) ,indicate it’s the Bouvet D.624 instead (altought it’s IRL clasification is Missile Escort )

Britain should also only get their domestic vehicles though.

Also why is there only one place anyone is ever allowed to take pictures from on the kiel canal?

I hope maybe by the time of Tranche 2 Typhoons. But those i see being a fair time away

cant respond to that one

Considering how hesitant Gaijin generally is with introducing new top tier IR missiles, two years minimum is what I reckon.

Possibly. It depends on how they want to place aircraft like the Tornado Gr4 / Jaguar GR3A. Though with the split BRs, they have an alternative for how/where to place them.

Tornado Gr4 with Brimstones would be impossible to balance for air modes and ground modes without ASRAAM. But now it could just have radically different BRs. Though I dont think ASRAAM should be totally taken off the table for them. But Im expecting them in a rather nerfed state.

We got most if not all of them.

Which is properly why gaijin is going to give us India and other commonwealth vehicles

Would love nothing less. But Gaijin wont add them and when they do, they are horribly nerfed.

hear me out we could see ASRAAM in the next 2 updates just not on a plane but instead on a truck at 11.7 to 12.0

in a SAM role, yeah, could come this year quite easily. Pretty much britians only answer to the Pantsir. But in an A2A role. Gunna be a while

I agree now finally give us our IFVs its been 5 years also we do some things to fill gaps like our top SPAA being canadian because otherwise we are stuck with the stormer or a tracked rapier till gaijin wanna add sams with 20+ km range

yeah or land ceptor which is like a 20+km range

Only issue with that, is that the radar is a seperate vehicle. More mobile than Patriot. but same possible limitation.

nope the launch platform has its own radar its just not as effective as having it linked to a proper radar trailer
