Would love nothing less. But Gaijin wont add them and when they do, they are horribly nerfed.

in a SAM role, yeah, could come this year quite easily. Pretty much britians only answer to the Pantsir. But in an A2A role. Gunna be a while
I agree now finally give us our IFVs its been 5 years also we do some things to fill gaps like our top SPAA being canadian because otherwise we are stuck with the stormer or a tracked rapier till gaijin wanna add sams with 20+ km range

yeah or land ceptor which is like a 20+km range
Only issue with that, is that the radar is a seperate vehicle. More mobile than Patriot. but same possible limitation.
nope the launch platform has its own radar its just not as effective as having it linked to a proper radar trailer

The UK is still missing 99% of the lights/IFVs from what I’ve gathered.

Heck. The Churchill isn’t even a good tank(in WT).
Good for what it was built for supporting infantry bad at what it’s not tank on tank combat.
So it’s a well-armoured tank with an underpowered gun.
Essentially. Though Challenger 2s are barely recognisable and the Challenger 3 we have is a major downgrade over the Challenger 2s. Wouldnt say no to a more complete CR3 with things like turret armour

yeah I never understood that why they give us that version of the challenger 3 (if it was russian it would have been the best possible version)
2 reasons. 1) it has the better engine so “in theory” its faster. 2) it has DM53.
It was throwing us a bone without actually throwing us anything of significance
no I mean why did they go with the 2020 or 2021 version and not the most recent version with the upgraded transmition and better armour

I mean, as of the time the true CR3 prototypes where not publicly available, and it’s more reasonable than a CR2 Clip in terms of ammunition load
thing is they removed its spall liner entirely on their turret
Based on that rule then britain shouldn’t get chally 2e, khalid, vijayanta and other exported version, italy shouldn’t get the RGO, VRCC etc, china shouldn’t get T-69 II G, ussr shouldn’t get turms and US souldn’t get AIM
