I am quite curious where such DDGs would be placed since it has 320 kg of TGAG-5 (I have no idea about the TNT equiv) so I cant see it being lower then 5.7 or even 6.0 which is cruiser range.
And this isn´t even remotely the most powerful DDG so I am starting to think that another TT layout redesign would be needed when we start getting proper DDGs (even though I think we are long way eway from that)
I think that we will see the Bravy equivalents first, I would say large ASMs will be the WTM perk for quite a long times because the DM and other aspects are really simplified so the implementation is easier.
I have not had such an experience, I battled a Scharnhorst who happened to be mates with me in a game yesterday and enjoyed watching my shells do fuck all until i managed to get all 8 shells to impact his barbette and turn it black.
Perhaps they exploded because you can actually hit the shell in the barbette if the gun is still loading, it doesn’t always guarantee a kill but almost always sets off the magazines which is a kill.
In any case, every time when someone talks about an ambiguously existing prototype. It’s always worth mentioning him.

We won’t get it because the armour values are completely unknown, we know that there was a ‘substantial increase in armour across the turret face’ but no specifics.
Who knows maybe the entire LoS thickness is now D-Technologie armour but we have absolutely no idea.
Perhaps its the same armour behind structural steel etc.

I recall reading that Rheinmetall claims to have improved the armour but don’t say much more
They base it on like downplayed sources overall IIRC but this one is literally just ‘we improved it’ and nothing else I think
I like the turret more though so i wish they made the CR3 turret look like this one.

2023 was mostly Russia dominating, now we had 6 months of Germany and Sweden dominating and there is only a new/better MBT for Russia and Italy (the latter deserves it tbh)? Very depressing.
Us: “Can we please have an Abrams with LFP DU armor or an Ariete with spall liner?”

It would just be nice if more of those other nations would get a MBT closer to the Strv 122s so that we don’t have to get stomped by Sweden for another 6 months.
