All the a2g the A has was only really used on the C so exactly the same
That ARH missiles would come in one of the first two updates, yes. They have not, however, been confirmed for the first one.

You are correct. But its 60/40 that ARH is coming in March due to Gripen C, though as always, god knows. They may even change their minds on the Gripen C coming in March. It took them 3 updates to give Britain and Sweden their Promised new Top tier Aircraft

Yep, But Im seriosuly doubt IRIS-T. At least Im expecting them on things like Late Tornado IDS’s first and not straight into dogfighters like the Gripen.
Assuming no ARH. I was just wondering if the Gripen C had something else to stand it out. Maybe better GPS guided bombs, ASMs. Rocket pods (looks like those are missing) etc etc. Just give them something else for an update
What happens if currently-ingame aircraft which receive MR-ARH are not moved to maximum BR ? There 's some kind of unspoken assumption that they would be, but what real evidence do we have for that - the AV-8B+ is not in the same class as the JAS 39C(SWE) even if they have the same weapons.
Very possible. Though with Gripen C confirmed for next update and ARH due "Soon™ " I think its not really needed. More like a filler before Gripen E.
Finnish Hornet can’t fill that gap I’m afraid
I mean if its a long (time) gap between Gripen C (with or without AMRAAM) and Gripen E. Then short of nothing at all. They could get Finnish F-18 simply as another high tier aircraft. Less of a BR gap filler
What we need is a decompression. That is pretty clear. But we are eventually going to be getting more advanced A2G weapons, aircraft like the Tornado Gr4 and harrier Gr9A will likely be 12.3-12.7 due to A2G weapons alone. So something like the Av-8B+ with AMRAAM could be quite comfortable at 12.3, with the right A2G loadout options as well for GRB (like a gen 3 Tpod)
We’ve had aircraft like the Harrier Gr7 pitted against Mig-29s and F-16s for an entire year and it did just fine (and it only recently got AAMs appropriate for it). Not gunna change much pitting something like the AV-8B+ with 2x Aim-9M and 4x AMRAAM against a Su-27 or F-15 with SARH
The Gripen c with AMRAAM would be the same as the finnish F/A 18 with AMRAAMS any way so it not really a stop gap unless the unless the finnish hornets are super hornets then it won’t be a stop gap for the gripen E as they also are around the same
Yep, I dont mean a BR gap filler. I literally just mean if its 12 months between Gripen C and Gripen E. It would give them an alternative. Something to fill that time gap

Actually when I think about it now it can be an actual solution.
F/A-18C with AIM-120C-5 / C-7, AIM-9M / early X, 12 missile pylons and HMD would be a quite solid stop gap.
