Yeah it would, Even with identical weapons to the Gripen C, it would have double the payload. That is not something to be underestimated. But there is massive amounts of variations able to created with different AMRAAM generations (and the possibility of Gen 5 IR, though I think those would come about the same time as the Typhoon, Gripen E, Rafale, etc. So might not be needed)

Not quite.
The subtree I propose is a unique and experimental idea. Israel does not really have a “best buddy” nation viable to add as a subtree, but Israeli defense companies make a shitton of vehicles, weapon systems, and other defense products for a very wide range of nations.
Thus, I came up with the Israeli defense industry subtree, which includes private ventures funded and developed solely by Israeli defense companies (examples: Rascal, Sabrah, M-LPV, MMCV), and heavily-modified vehicles upgraded for the export market (examples: PT-76-2000, T-54M3, TAM 2C).
However, this isn’t a “oh, this non-Israeli ground vehicle has a tiny insignificant sensor that does not matter in War Thunder anyway? Off to the subtree instead of the nation it was from!” subtree. Over the 2 years I worked on the tree as a whole, I’ve added and removed a lot of vehicles due to their Israeli mods being unsatiafactory for my opinion. 2 months ago I removed the T-72M4CZ, which was in the subtree pretty much ever sience I created it. There are a lot of viable vehicles I could’ve added to the subtree aswell, like the PT-76(M) which was the Singaporian service version of the PT-76-2000 prototype (it had the original PT-76B transmission and could not fire APFSDS unlike the prototype). I specifically try to avoid adding unnecessary bloat to the subtree and to let Gaijin have the benefit of the dount when adding vehicles.
And a very important note: most of the vehicles in the subtree would’ve been added anyways to the Israeli ground forces, with or without the subtree. The subtree just helps organizing them and gravitating them to the research tree rather than bring added as event vehicles.
