Still, modified US planes. Nothing build from scratch.
By that logic everything France can get is just a modified Mirage III / 2000 variant basically. Nothing build from scratch…
Israeli F-16 were 1st to receive CFTs for example and their weapons and systems replaced most of US tech. Many of current F-16 or F-15 upgrades started their lives on Israeli aircrafts. All it takes is simply the will from Gaijin to actually include these upgrades and systems on Israeli vehicles.
If that’s not enough they can even add jets like Lavi, Kfir block 10 / 60 / NG, MiG-21-2000, as well as many other modernization packages offered by Israel.
But that’s French plane, not from another country. You don’t get my point ^^
You can’t say x country is “original/the most original one” if a lot of it’s stuff is from another one.
Could you send me a link to this information?
What you mention is exactly what happened in the 1990s lol, so I think you’re reading something old.
Now, we never wanted or evaluated F-18.
The sale of F-16 is a fact. It is approved by the North American Congress and confirmed by the new minister of defense. There are already pilots who are in training.
We could have at least two variants for the German TT. Once now and once when we get to things like the AIM9 X.
Tbf I won’t even be mad if Germany get’s an Argentina F-16 it make more sense than the Swiss F/A-18
i have been tricked, was a google news pop up. But it seems to have been an history article
I can certainly say that Israel is original.
You won’t find that many plane / tank modernizations and indigenous weapons and systems in the other nations. They may use jets originating from US but they have their very own versions that you won’t find anywhere else.
Not to mention their missiles (Python and Derby family for example) as well as APS systems (Iron Fist, Trophy), shell types (120mm: CL-3143, Slpprj 95; 105mm: Slpprj m/80, DTW1-105, DM23, DM33, m/85, DM63). Most of these are being used in other nations too so does that mean they aren’t original?
Yes. If you can find something in different TTs, it’s not original.
I mean as nations, not shells/missiles/whatever
So variants are C&P now?
A Sherman Firefly is a C&P Sherman?
I think that if combined technology trees will never be a reality, the best place for Argentine vehicles is Germany.
I’m sure the French wouldn’t be upset to see a Mirage IIIEA (Argentine version) in the German TT. I think that Argentina left French technology well represented in the world, a few decades ago.
Spoiler
The Dagger and the Finger, although French designed, are manufactured in Israel and later modernized in Argentina. For the rest: The pampa, the pucara and the pulqui, among others, are clear German designs. Even the IAe. 37 would be cool to see.
Argentina could provide one line of aircraft from rank I and two lines, one of fighters and one of attackers, from rank V onwards. Almost all of them would be unique.
If a nation use a lot of tech/vehicles/missile/whatever that exist and are build first in another nation, then yes this nation is not totally original (sure they can have original stuff, but saying it’s the most original one when a majority of it’s military stuff come from another country, no.
They can have original homemade things, but if the majority of used stuff would not be in this nations without the work of another one, it’s not original.
Yeah sure, Germoney really need French mirage now.
There needs to be a distinction made between “interesting” and “copy paste”, because it isn’t a copy paste nation per definition. What I can see is when people find it uninteresting.
Basically, Israel is unique but not as exciting as some others.
If a vehicle provides you with a unique gaming experience, it is a unique vehicle.
I played all over Israel and I can tell you that it is very different to play A-4H and A-4N.
An example of Copy-past is the IS-2 of the USSR and the IS-2 of China.
Well they already have a Franco-Argentina tank, plus this Mirage is modded by Argentina so it would give a different playstyle also Argentina is pretty much almost a sub tree at this point
Ok so give Belgium F-16s, Tested F-15 and F-18 (or CF18, dont remember), Algerian Mig-29 to France if this could add different playstyle ?
They already have the unique French oscillating 105mm turret of the game with the DF105, they don’t need French stuff anymore for any BS “more playstyle”. If they want more planes, they should go back in time and make them build more.
Germany shouldn’t get Mirage on the basis that Argentina isn’t a German sub-tree.
The Argentinian vehicles in the German tree have German roots and can thus be justified as additions for the German tree (with exception of the SK-105 variant, but that’s a special story).
And the Mirage have German root?
It’s vehicle that TT are using and receiving, not nations.
