Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 1)

So are you ready to fight r-77 with poor aim120A?
Even in that circumstances, soviets will tell us that they are “underperforming”

As an American citizen, I fully agree. We threaten our wallets against Gaijin whenever we don’t get our way. At least those of us who main the US. Lol. (not me)

It’ll be AIM-120B, and I’d be ready.
They’re equivalent.

I’d prefer AIM-120C1 vs R-77-1 though.

Here it’s mostly the russian mains complaining how they have to fight on actually equal footing, like not being able to have R-73 vs AIM-9L.

Luckily most of the diehard US mains reside on Reddit. Can’t imagine having to deal with them on 2 different platforms.

I remember a while ago there was a guy saying that the Tornado F.3 is better than the MiG-29A and that the JA37D is enough for Sweden (and also thought it could carry four RB71s) while Russia needed the Su-27.
On top of that, he unironically believed/s that his spending a tonne of money on the game makes him superior to others.

I lurk and occasionally comment, I’m almost always downvoted, it’s hilarious lmao. Complete echo chamber on almost every post.

There is no freedom of speech in the forum

The AIM-120 isn’t Russian, so I’ve never had my hopes up for it.

There is no need to have expectations for AIM120, Gajin will think that it is exactly the same as R-77, and the data will be exactly the same for balance

Gaijin thinks that reports on the Igla are enough evidence to leave the Stinger and Mistral drastically underperforming, even when in acknowledged presence of primary sources saying otherwise, so at this point they think they can justify anything.

I believe not Shenyang J-15 but not sure it might be Chengdu J-10A or Shenyang J-11A

I guess gajin considered decompress F-16A Block 20 MLU to 12.7 BR after add IR SRAAM AIM-9M-9 and active radar homing MRAAM AIM-120B AMRAAM

To be fair. Anything not in line with what the sub thinks is at risk of downvotes. I have 5 nations at top tier and the only thing I’m biased towards is balance, but even I think that sub can be ridiculously biased.

The J-15 and F/A-18 may come out together, but does the Su-33 have R-77?

To my knowledge, it cannot.

I’m not aggressively biased towards anyone. But I do like to “stir the polenta” as they say in my country.

Says the one that wants an F-14 in the Russian tree.

When mods abuse their powers and +80% of the users karma-neg you into oblivion for the most mundane disagreement (not trolling), there’s no freedom of speech there either, fyi.

Lotta people that are biased tend to accuse others of doing such things.
Potentially “If I do it everyone does it.”

I have all ten tech trees at rank 7.
6 completed, with the other 4 in varying levels of progress around rank 8. Let’s see if I can remember the details…
China, Italy, Israel, Sweden I haven’t completed.
China’s 3/4ths through F-16, a third to half through F-8F, and a small portion up JH-7A.
Italy I got Tornado IDS and a quarter to third through AV-8B.
Israel I’m half way through Kurnass 2000.
And Sweden I’m a third to half way through Viggen D.

I don’t go out to complete tech trees though as it just happens after I play a lot of a cool vehicle or two.

Then people get mad at me when I state my air opinion after having MANY weeks of experience as well as observing the experience of other skilled air players and taking their perspectives into account.
Next major update won’t be biased toward any tech tree from my research on AARHs.

Yes, the two things are exclusive.

Unless Iranian F-14 in the USSR tree is so OP it will permanently bias the game in favor of the USSR/RU, you fail to make a point that is actually logical.

My desire for the F-14 in the USSR tree is a preference, preferences are subjective not objective. It’s not a bad thing to be biased, as long as you recognize it.

What’s bad about bias is when your subjective thoughts and opinions bleed over into a statement of fact, (objective). I’m not out here saying the Su-27 is my favorite plane, therefore it is the best plane in the world, and must be the best plane in the game. That would be an example of bias spreading, and is the exact kind of thing people need to be careful of.

A statement you and I can get behind.
See, common ground.
