Soviets haven’t had anything remotely powerful more than others before & after MLD.
Even then MLD had FG1 to face.

Su-27 is probably better for air sim where CM count & airframe performance matters less.

Russia mains like you are always interesting to watch.
I expect R-77-1s and AIM-120C1s.
Though I wouldn’t be surprised if France and China were made more powerful initially and R-77s and AIM-120Bs were added instead to go with MICA EMs and PL-12s.

R-77 is equivalent to AIM-120B. Both having 80km ranges while still being defeated by ground reflections.
R-77-1 is equivalent to AIM-120C1-4. Both being of the ~105km range class while still being defeated by ground reflections.

Yeah, there’s no reason to give F-16A MLU AIM-120s cause it’s better to stay at 12.0 as a buffer.
