it doesn’t sadly
Thats a shame, thought it did. FA2 unfortunately doesnt either but off boresight should be entirely possible with the radar.
P4 would be max 50G with single plane (as gaijin modells) so Derby would probably be around 30-35G
AIM-120A/B pull 35G btw AIM-120C+ around 30G
My estimate would be closer to 40g, however even 35g is better than the AIM-120C.
5G more pull is a terrible trade for half the range of C5
Once again, range matters very little.
In the current Meta. It might if BVR becomes the norm
At this point lets just add Meteor for Gripens since range doesn’t matter
I’ll take ASRAAM for F3s if that is okay :P
In smaller maps, AIM-7F/Ms can easily reach targets upwards of 20kms away. BVR becoming the norm would not alone change this.
What an asinine comparison.
If maps get larger at long last though, it could change
Yes.
Does the asraam not pull like 100g
Mirage 2000-5F was made for fox3, not magic2 and 530s
And Mirage 4000 was planned (so dunno if Gaijin gonna do that) for using 14x MICAs.
Nope. It’s closer to 50-something G with dual-plane maneuverability.
also range usually goes hand in hand with energy retention on a maneuvering target.
That is a good thread for comparing them
could complain how the iris-t is under europe not germany
