I implore you to learn what “where possible” means.
it really doesn’t. The only factor that matters is having TWS and PD, potentially MPRF too but that’s it.
Yeah that would shrink our list by Italy
(accidentally put China in here btw)
Israel has the MiG-21-2000, also.
Not compatible with R-77 tho
Derby.
AIM-120B range
And?
You wanted AIM-120C-5 level of missiles and Derby doesn’t fit that criteria
Pineapple doesnt belong on Pizza
A city hardly got bombed by the luftwaffe even though it had a major railway works and rolls royce.
Hehe
Sorry, couldnt resist :D
Range is not everything. The Derby is developed from the Python 4, and would thus be able to perform very well with the AIM-120C-5.
I agree.
Derby pull much less than Python 4
So does the AIM-120C-5.
Depends on how it’s done. It’s one of those sweet stop recipes. Too much or too little and it’s bad.
Yeah but C5 goes twice as far
Again, range is not everything. In fact, range matters very little on all but EC size maps for top tier BVR missiles.
Wouldnt a Mig-21 even with ARH, Still be, well, an Mig-21?
Therefore would be against Gen 3++ with Aim-120B? Sounds ideal for Israel, as they have F-16 or F-15 for Aim-120C5 level
