Germany could still receive the Swiss F-18 eventually. It will fill a gap which exists which is what the Hunter did.
Or they could fill it with an Argentinian F-16 as that deal seems to have gone through without a UK veto.
Or Germany gets left with the F-4F ICE which I doubt as its a big 3 TT.
My thoughts are that they will probably introduce an early Eurofighter before Germany becomes outpaced though.
Gap as in guided stuff so a tech gap rather BR gap

well, wouldnt double as cas, but thats secondary, in this sence its more about ARB compatibility
They can easily limit its armament and as it has an M-scan radar (albeit the best ever fitted to a fighter) they can make it worse than the PESA’s on the Sukhoi’s and Rafale and the early AESA arrays on F-18/15/2.
Two TV Maverics are barely effective and wasn’t what Germany needed
I dont know why people expect a Early eurofighter when every possible early config of the eurofighter was denied for britain.

We are coping so this new fighter we got doesn’t get immediately power crept out existence
its okay youll just get the Britain experience for a few patches, see it as a bit of karma for getting the Hunter when it imo shouldve been in the UK tree as a squad vic

Just because you’ve had some questionable negative decisions recently does not make Germany not a big 3 nation. Its still a very good and very large tree and even the gimped 2A7V is better than a lot of what everyone else has.

Coping mostly. I’d put money on Germany getting an F-18.
It was denied for there last update.
We know AMRAAMS are coming ether in this or next update.
and they will need a new shiny toy for it, US and Russia already got there so it’s will be Germany time tthis time as it’'s good for marketing if they add the Typhoon at lest a limited one.
Like how most were putting money on the UK getting a CF-18? :p
