Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 1)

i’m just here praying gaijin stops screwing over the minor nations, they have original stuff to add, that they’d want, they still have notable gaps in vehicles/airframes, some progression gaps and missing capabilities

the WIP progress posts with the avon-sabre and the M7 tank give me some hope, but if the rest is just another round of copyslop, i’ll be disapointed.

Is the Wildcat (the heli), the new Japanese plane or even the new Chinese SPG “copyslop”? For now this update is looking very promising

this update does look promising, but there is still time for gaijin to disapoint, and we’ll have to wait and see if this spirit behind this update carries on over to the next one

That is why we have aesa eurofighter ? A planned south african ifv ?

Also pretty sure i remember talk about the eurofighter model being generic enough because of possible changes to the model, and well, gaijin assumed that Germany would get the IRST, things that it didn’t.

Some tech trees could easily get 8 or 9 lines without even doing that… but for now I guess 5 lines is enough

They have been tested and that’s enough for Gaijin, The AH-64E or F-15IA haven’t been tested by Isreal

Ok ? That is not about what i’m replying to and i’m not saying the opposite of what you are saying.

Yea I meant to reply to the other guy that Gaijin adds stuff that are been tested and never gotten in service

what ? hell no. you already got like 4 different one

I count 3:

F-15C GE
F/A-18E
PoBIT.

And calling the F/A-18E and PoBIT (F-16V as well) top tier aircraft is already a stretch. They are only at that BR because Gaijin forces them to be there.

i count 2 since F-16 is a 14.0 worthy but gaijin being gaijin with their br.

but yes that still 1 -2 more than the avrage tech tree. am i saying they should not get new plane ? no
do they need it ? no

If we count 14.3-14.7:

  • Germany has 2
  • Russia has 2
  • Britain has 3
  • Japan has 1
  • China has 2 (although the J-15T should move down to 14.3)
  • Italy has 2
  • France has 2
  • Sweden has 1
  • Israel has 0

So the US is pretty in line with most nations in terms of quantity of 14.3-14.7 capable aircraft.

0 14.7s

lets focus on the aesa one. i dont see someone who would take a mechanical radar over aesa one. like playing the T1 eft while having the aesa. thats the part i am in.

Thank you for the source! I’ve therefore changed my comment;

Honestly, if they applied ALL of the following changes, Centauro 2 may be worth something;

-Autoloader’s rate of fire should be 3 seconds.

-The loader, who’s sitting right there, should be able to load the gun manually when the autoloader is emptied/broken, instead of locking fire till the autoloader is replenished/repaired (5 seconds aced).

-The time to replenish the first order rack should be reduced.

Honestly, this would make Centauro 2 and Italian Top Tier actually worth SOMETHING outside of Leopard 2A7HU. To such degree, that EVEN I would grind it at last.

China has 3 even if you move the J-15T down?

J-10C
F-16V
J-15T

Question…are exceptions made at Gaijins choosing??? Not saying they will show up or not…but isn’t it the same case with the German EFT and many here have said the 30SM2 should not be what it is??? Sooooo?

That’s balancing issues or players believing that an aircraft does not perform irl as it does in game. It’s two completely different things with what vehicles does Gaijin adds
