In the next update, will we be able to see whether Gaijin has addressed the player-reported issues from three years ago? And can we expect a clear response regarding this issue as well?

On average, around 1000 fixes, issues and suggestions are implemented in each major update. Both new and old. Last major for example included a plethora of ordinance changes and fixes.

Currently this issue is still open under investigation. So until the devs have concluded that, im afraid there is no answer to provide right now.

Hey Smin is there any updates on the leopard 2K and it’s missing thermals Community Bug Reporting System it’s been 2 years 🥀

But then it will go to 10.3

Only about another 20-30k or so vehicle related bug reports to go. That doesnt necessarily include those relating to weapons, maps, game mechanics, etc

Shouldn’t change it too much tbh but thermals would be nice

The later models with Hellfire, SDB and Griffin might be somewhat useful though only barely. (Still want them just for the cool factor though)

Kind of a Sisyphus type of situation since you add/ brake on average about 1500 bugs/mechanics per major update

@Smin1080p_WT

When new systems are added is it up to the community to go back and historic report all vehicles that have that system?

Example ESM was recently added with the addition of ARM, there are aircraft that have built in ESM suites such as the Eurofighter or Rafale. Can we expect devs to be working on adding those systems to existing vehicles or updating the community on their continued implementation?

Day 1257 of waiting for Polish tech tree

And then what? My point is it leaves things rather vague and then people take it upon themselves to bug report certain vehicles. Should be a bit more structured or apparent what the plan is when they add something like this. Larger communities, TTs that have more players would have a higher likelihood that someone would properly report the “missing” feature.

Would be nice to know when adding new systems what their plan is.
In the blog about changing missile physics for less dense air at altitude and motor changes they stated their intention of adding it to to all missiles not just the AIM-54, something like that for other additions would be nice.

Something like ESM should have been fixed before the update even went live. The idea that ONLY soviet aircraft had built in ESM was just dumb.

As for missile aerodynamics changes, yes that would be good to get a timeline for everyone else, but they are probably waiting for hte community to do the research for them

I think COIN aircraft armed with similar weapons (like the AT-6E or the Textron Scorpion with access to hellfires, LGBs, GBU-53s, etc) could be fun to have, even if they are only useful for infantry mode or nuclear escalation.

Reports are generally encouraged for anything in game thats “missing” (unless we have specified its not something to be reported) so that there are publicly traceable links / reports for everyone to see and use the status of. However its generally known what aircraft have what systems and comes down to when they are planned to be added and implemented. This could vary based on available information and other factors.

Almost spall liners all over again

So, soviet aircraft being hte only ones to get internal ESM was intentional?
